KOTOR 2 how to enable cheats

If it says access denied, drag the file out of program files and onto your desktop. Edit it there, then drag it back into program files where it belongs. Problem solved. :]

Alright so i edited the file and nothing happens like no cheats are enabled

have the box marked labeled replace owner blah blah, click your computer name or Admin name then apply then ok. You should now have claimed ownership. now you can edit .ini on the files. do this for all in 7 or vista when editing config files for anything.

I've edited the file and, i'm assuming it worked because the once the ~ key is pressed i can type freely without hitting all the various hot keys. None of the cheat codes do what they are supposed to, however. When typing 'give item' and then the item code, it makes an item a grenade image but with no description appear in my inventory. When in combat, that grenade appears as an option to throw, but it cannot be used. Does anybody know what is going on?

@Yrjo93 well that usually means youre doing it wrong try giveitem a_robe_09 no right when you press ~ type giveitem no spaces until you type a_robe_09
