@beams93 glad you got my back, appreciate it. Some stores have them set up but I've only seen a couple at GC but I do not see demos anymore. I no longer have mine. My new muse is my iPad, enough soft synths on their to keep me busy, and I'm convinced that in the not too distant future it will have the capability close to the Maschine, not too far from it now with apps like BeatMaker and NanoStudio. Can you sample from anywhere with the Maschine, I mean is there a mic input, and a place to plug in a hardware synth and guitar and stuff?

@ZKLKZK Yes and No. Yes, the Maschine can record external samples, it is really good at this in fact, allows you to edit them real fast and assign to the pads. No, the Maschine does not have a mic input. You need to use whatever sound input device you are using for audio on your computer.

Really nice tune - just a little busy with the percussion.  Nice chimey, etherial new age keyboard patches. I am a guitar / keyboard / songwriter - just wonder how it will do with the typical verse-verse-chorus-verse, etc song. Understand it's a versatile beatbox, but I need it to do that and more.

whats with all the magician hands ?? and boring video fx, I make music, and am looking to get one of these, not really into your style of music, and I think if your having fun thats cool, but does this work for imported sounds or do you have to buy them off native instruments, or only work with whats on it as bought ??

@dsb100 just trying to keep the vid more visually interesting, better than looking at the same image the whole time...you can bring in your own samples ,and sample with the Mascine, very open in that sense, though you cannot use other softsynths, just the ones that come with it.

Seriously, I am not sure, don't own the unit anymore, but from what I understand the new OS opened up more MIDI possibiities, and ACID uses MIDI so I imagine you will be able to integrate them, others probably know more than me at this point.

Have you played the melody on an external keayboard or with the pads of Maschine?

Yes, I played it with an external keboard. But once I played the original line, I tweaked it lots in the Maschine's sequencer. This really is a great workflow - get your basic idea down with keys, then fine tune / tweak in the sequencer. It fits my workstlye perfectly, letting me be creative and sloppy, but fixing / tweaking it to make it perfect.
