this is based on the books? i read the first one and they look nothing like in the show. i pictured spencer much hotter, younger and sassy looking. alison is not even pretty in the show. shay mitchell is a lot hotter than i pictured emily. ashley benson is ok, but when they go into flashbacks where she was a fat loser she looks just the same lol. the only casting choice i actually like is aria.

i think blake lively is a perfect spencer hastings.. i actually read the whole series and even on the cover of the books, the spencer barbie doll looks alot like blake lively. That means that Sara shepard imagined blake as spencer when she was writing the series, not Troian Bellisario....

I think this cast list is very supercial.. and it wouldnt have worked out anyway because most of these actors/actresses have a set image based on previous films they've done and therefore could hardly be imagined being someone on a tv series
