The Departed was fucking overrated, full of plotholes. The original of that film and Donnie Brasco were way better.

its was very good, but i feel the Departed REALLY made you fear for the undercover cop. this film felt kind of rushed at the end too, but still a great film

This is all based on a true story. At the end though, when it implies Lefty got whacked, it's not true. Lefty died in 1997 from lung cancer.

Very true, Sonny Black was the one who went of to his death after giving away his jewelery. He even had his girlfriend give Donnie the message.

Man Johnny Depp is a great actor, what a performance from Johnny. He is in the top ten of greatest actors of all time and he should win an oscar one day, has he won an oscar yet?

alot of awards but never an oscar. The man deserves an oscar, but he's still young and I'm pretty sure he'll get one in the years to come.
