awesome, thanks rebecca! i get in a rut on the same thing, even if its healthy, i like some other ideas...and i'm gettin tired of my same 'ol! what timing your video has! lol
Great snacking ideas. Besides the fact that they are healthier, they are also cheaper. And just as easy to pack for work at lunch. I've saved a ton of money packing my own homemade snacks for work vs. pre-made stuff or buying from the cafeteria. It just takes a little time to prepare is all. But we're worth it!
I'm glad you liked the video. Our surgery support staff is awesome, of course I just might be biased but they have lots of good info that they pass along to us. It's nice to see them as committed to our success. I got tired of my profile pic being the absolute worst shot of the last video made lol
My surgeon says no to celery but that looked yummy! Rice cakes were also on his bad list. I suppose a lot has to do with how far out you are as to what you can try and expirement with.
Yeah, we all have differing restrictions or rules. That's why I put the little disclaimer at the end. I don't want to go against a professional's guidelines. Personally, the only similar restriction we had was for fresh fruits and vegetables for like the first month. Then it was, try it, chew chew chew, if it works- great, if not- try again in a couple weeks. And by the end of that month I was dying for a salad!! lol
excellent video and ideas! Thank you!

Thank you for the informative video Rebeca. One of my favorite snacks is 1/2 cup cottage cheese with a roma tomatoes diced up in it. It is yummy.
