  • does it sound good with a bass?=

  • looks so fun

  • Rockin' that Wah Probe. Cheers! ZVEX EFFECTS

  • Hendrix would enjoy this shit!

  • lol super hard on

  • just a friendly tip no offence but you talk too much dude again no offence

  • this would be amazing if you could get the actual sensor thing on the guitar body

  • play dani california!!!

  • The good stuff is at 4:27

  • can it be used with bass?

  • His hair looks like the liberty bell and his face is where the crack would be!

  • its an awesome pedal, but would be hard to play standing up, unless your good at standing on one foot :P

  • mmm hard on boost

  • thats really cool

  • lol he looks like jack black. nice review

  • lol...School of Rock!!!

  • i know someone who looks identical to jack black

  • @bandjaming we don't care

  • @ParthofthePigeons He looks like Jack Black & White.

  • @MadmanAcrossTheWater

    Yeah. Jack Gray

  • @MadmanAcrossTheWater Skinny Jack Black is a stretch. I don't see White in him at all. His skin tone is probably an illusion as well.

  • Doing a gradual wah effect where you gradually push the pedal forward or back would be pretty tough with this pedal. Also, this guy is sitting - but wouldn't you be standing on one leg to use this if not sitting?

Seems kind of silly to me.

  • you don't have to stand on one leg to use it, just keep your heel on the floor or the edge of your pedal board...

  • 4:14 he playin' nice reggae!

  • Can we assume that this will be the future of all pedals?

    Fantastic!!!!!

  • If Jimi Hendrix were still alive this would totally give him a boner!

  • @JonDeth

    LMFAO...wah probe+voodoo child=jesus

  • I have to play without shoess??? weell it's in an unconventient

  • nahh it doesn't matter.. you can wear shoes.

  • Are you guys going to start putting cool videos up again anytime soon?

  • lmao, a pedal often used for making porn music with a "super hard on" boost.

  • lol

  • Looks like something Tom Morrello would use.

  • I'm gonna try spitting then pissing on it for some unique wah sounds :D

  • LOL!

  • 4:05 thats the song thats gonna be in my first porno! XD

  • Gotta love technology! :P

  • That's pretty sweet. I like that it has a built-in overdrive, but I wonder how comfortable it would be playing while standing.

  • Give a lean with one leg forward for the wah lol then adjust how far your leaning that's how i do it and i haven't been uncomfortable with a wah yet

  • Yeah, I get that, I do the same, but without a pedal to rest your foot on, I'd think it get tiring .

  • this thing is cool but over 300 bucks for a "wah" pedal ouch!

  • you look and sound exactly like me :O

  • From hearing that pedal Id rather a traditional foot pedal. You still have to somehow create a rhythm with your foot anyhow and the real thing seems easier.

  • Am i the only on thinking about how it would sound putting an electric fan in so the blades kept going in to the field?

  • dude that would be insane ._.

  • eww that wah sounds awful. the proximity control is brilliant though

  • kinda weird sound but cool!

  • seems like it pops alot and its really hard to control.

  • Super Hard on Boost FTW

  • More like "super HARD ON boost."

  • nice sock

  • XD...very good

  • This is Hangarrr EIGHTEEEN!

    Next stop... INSANITYYY!

  • what camcorder do you use????

    Thanks a lot!!!!!

  • ill stick with my zakk wylde wah... you keep yer new fangeled whoositwhatzits to yourself, sonny.

  • im now more exceited to use my epiphone now that i found out it has grovers hahahaha :P

  • there probly not even real ones anyway alot of them aren't

  • oh wow that thing sounds like it would be great for some reggae tunes.

  • that is crazy awesome, my wah pedal was expensive and it has to be rocked like i'm flooring a model T.

  • nice tone fella

  • for some reason this guy reminds me of the big time christian guy from clerks 2

  • they should make a version without the proximety field and lower the price

  • Nice for Reggee Musicians, but you can also use it for other things as well, thanks for showing us!

  • So i'm wondering, why does the Gibson have Grover (or grover-style) tuners as opposed to the green keys? I have Grovers on my epi SG400 but I thought the stock Gibson tuners were better.

  • There's a lot of debate, but I think grovers will hold a tune better then the stock klusons that Gibson installs.

This can also be affected by the quality of the tuners (there are crappy grovers and crappy klusons), how much play you have in your tuners and how hard you tend to play.

Most players replace them, but if the tuners you have right now work for you then don't worry about it.

  • I definitely agree, Grovers hold a tune pretty well from my experience. I jam with my friend who has a Gibson LP studio and the klusons he has seem to be on par with my grovers; he has to tune the B or G string up (which is apparently a universal gibson/epi defect) every now and then while we're playing. Overall i'm satisfied with the quality of parts used in epiphone guitars, namely the grover tuners (which run around $40 I believe)

  • Compared to the 100 dollar replacement kluson tuners.

I've got klusons on my Gibson right now that do the trick for me.

I suppose I could replace them, but I'm also a sucker for the vintage look so as long as the guitar stays in tune I'm happy.

  • i think pedals in general are dumb and waste of money for the most part,i just plug straight into my twin only pedal i ever used was a mxr script 90

  • that just means you suck. =)

  • is that a distortion pedal?

  • wow.... you must suck. bad. try walking into your local GC and fucking with all the pedals for about 3 hours... now that is fun.

  • actually im pretty good and been in and out of a few bands now forming a new one, just pedals are annoying and its not my style...think its kinda stupid if you cant play and impress if you need 100 pedals.

  • no, but if you do and you know how to use them, youll sound good.

a great example of this is Joe Satriani.

he has a yard long pedalboard and he uses all of them perfectly.

I seriously reccomend checking him out before you go judging effects.

  • Dumb...

  • for anyone who is wondering, this thing sells retail for $329.99, not a cheap pedal, but cool if you have the money.

  • CRAZY expensive :O

  • he says super hardon boost. i was shocked?

  • jep

  • very neat little toy i... like

  • the Dime Wah can be adjusted to it barley has resistance, ive gotten all the same tone with the Dime as this also

  • very cool

  • i want one also!!!

  • ME... TOO... ...O_O

  • I want one!

  • then buy one? S:

  • imo this guy is much better on electric than classical. Nice sounding pedal

  • This reminds me of a video by MoogMusic where a Moog Guitar was set on full sustain mode and was controlled by an Etherwave theremin. The theremin could be used to control the overall volume or the Moog Guitar envelope filter. Very cool stuff!

  • I got it... it's going to auto read by guitar "players" movements right...just like laser security systems....you don't have to have it on the ground you can do old radials etc right

  • brilliant.

  • awsome
