ce3 its a way more optimized, easy-dev, more level of details, real time light quantity, huge space for scenarios, unique quality tecniques of image and post processing and its far more powerfull and improoved, but frost engine its a good one too, but its closed for indie / modders, so we cant see how far she can goes, but with the games that've been done on it, it's far to be so mighty as ce3. Well, as the guy above said, both engines powns the creppy activision engine of cod :)

In the areas covered in this video, the Frostbyte 2.0 engine is the winner. However you left out another area. Cryengine 3 is designed to do full dx11 with POM, Tessellation, SSAO ect. As for Battlefield 3 however, Frostbyte 2.0 doesn't do as much.
All in all, they are pretty much the same. I'd like to see a combination of these 2 engines. Would make for a very nice set of games.

Cryengine 3 is the best garphical engine but my favorite is the source engine.Search up Cryengine 3 titanic and some dx11 yes frosbite 2.0 does dx 11 too,but I find cryengine for graphically higher standard than frostbite 2.0 .
The Cryengine gameplay he showed was bullshit anyway, it didn't look anything like as good as that in the final release of Crysis 2. Battlefield 3 actually looks even better in the final version than what's being displayed.

ce3 its a way more optimized, easy-dev, more level of details, real time light quantity, huge space for scenarios, unique quality tecniques of image and post processing and its far more powerfull and improoved, but frost engine its a good one too, but its closed for indie / modders, so we cant see how far she can goes, but with the games that've been done on it, it's far to be so mighty as ce3. Well, as the guy above said, both engines powns the creppy activision engine of cod :)

In the areas covered in this video, the Frostbyte 2.0 engine is the winner. However you left out another area. Cryengine 3 is designed to do full dx11 with POM, Tessellation, SSAO ect. As for Battlefield 3 however, Frostbyte 2.0 doesn't do as much.
All in all, they are pretty much the same. I'd like to see a combination of these 2 engines. Would make for a very nice set of games.

The Cryengine gameplay he showed was bullshit anyway, it didn't look anything like as good as that in the final release of Crysis 2. Battlefield 3 actually looks even better in the final version than what's being displayed.
