  • An awsome match, with particularly spectacular points from Petr Korbel, maybe one of the best matches I have ever seen from him...

  • i know it is true ..

  • what does the chinese term "fan la" mean? what kind of spin are they talking about?

  • @enemie55 they are referring to counter loops

  • Comment removed

  • @enemie55 fan = reverse (counter)

    la = pull (loop)

to loop a ball in chinese we say pull the ball

  • korbel rocks !!

  • @michalz32 This is actually true.

  • wow...going against Wang....how old is Korbel in this game anyway?...very aggressive match..nice video.....peace yah all!

  • the crowd is so annoying

  • Korbel is really nice, I like his playing style, always so calm!

  • Very nice

  • Yes Petr Korbel is the best Czech player last 15 years...This match it was so close :( His technics is great. Go Korbel Go!

  • It is a funny definition of 'close'

  • korbel's backhand is fantastic

  • PingMast: In table tennis is most important the speed of wrist and alongside forhand is speed of antebrachium. It me said somebody in the composition Zoran Primorac.

I'm sorry for my English, but my English is weak.

  • i got something to ask...when the opponent serve with sidespin...wat to do??and the sidespin is fast...

  • just hit it back over the net on to the other side of the table.

  • Petr Korbel is in our country (Czech republic)four-square the best. And when his team-mate from representation trained us on concentration training, he said us, that he is so good because he contrary of others, he had imposing backhand known as chiqita.

  • Petr Korbel still has some fire! haha.

    Great rally at 2:16

  • Wang Liqin's backhand at 1:33.

  • they have no time to react fire.

  • why don't they backhand slam it to the otherside when the opponent is really far off? Wang Liqin 2:16

  • And don't say it's hard, I'm pretty sure they could do that.

  • How could he do that? Korbels returns were all to the forehand side of the table, plus it had right sidespin.

  • =p I'm just noob at table tennis ^^

  • They CAN do it, but it's kinda risky. The angle in which the ball is curving at is to great because of the opponents side spin, so putting it to the other side will still make the ball curve more to the opponents position. In short, it's just safer to put it further to the sides.

  • thanks

  • wang liqin got the worlds best forehand

  • i thought wang liqin might lose the rally at 2:16 b/c for some reason at the 2008 WTTC he wasnt good at getting the sidespin drives from other players like that Romanian dude. i dont think this tournament was his best one. but dont get me wrong, he's still good.

  • He plays just like Schlager. At least they are similar styles.

  • Sugoi.. Fantastic play!!

  • nice while under pressure and the audience going crazy

  • korbel has good backhand! nice..

  • Korbel you dream come true

  • one of the best videos on youtube..

  • 2.16 fuck me~!!!

  • good to see Korbel still going strong.

  • Korbel is very good.

    Underestimated player.

  • thx. korbel is very good.
