Very nice. I'll be thinking about this vid when it comes time. I have a '66 post coupe GTO as well and have Hooker Super Comps and Flowmaster 40s ready to go on, not sure if that will be too loud. I love the way Pontiacs sound but I don't want to get pulled over a lot. It's either that or a Pypes system I think.

The government dictates to them (Manufacturers) what kind of cars to make, which aren't always the kind people buy. That's part of why the auto manufacturers were in trouble. Cafe standards. Remember when they told Mfgs. cars over a certain HP had to weigh more? They built the "lead sled", where the frames were weighted with lead. Current environmentalist whackos would have had a conniption fit at THAT today!!!

It makes me cry new cars don't sound like that anymore but then again, it wouldn't be as cool. But now Pontiac has said bye bye expect the prices to go up even more :(. I plan on getting one of these soon. :D

ha ha.... on july 16th(my 18th birthday), i recieved a magazne from hot rod, stating pontiacs closure.... now my all time favorite car since childhood was gonna get even more expensive... damn... two days later, i buy a 66 gto.... no rust, 389 with holley carb, and side exit cherrybomb exaust, for 4k.... its to powerful, i just worry about gas....

That is beautiful, great looking engine bay brother, I had a 71 not quite my style. Replaced it with a 06, H/C/I car, bruit power. I plan on getting a 69 and there after buy a 64, 65, and a 66 after I figure i can buy one every 4 years. I have owned GTO's since I was 19 and 10 years later still believe they the sexiest cars ever made.

Great car and video. I love the way the car rocks up and down when the engine is being revved, like it can barely wait for it's power to be released. I love all muscle cars but the Pontiac GTO is the king in my opinion.
