But hang on a minute. I would like an officiial to answer this. I understood the Euro-fighter was to replace the Tornado fleet? And possibly the JSF was to replace the Harrier but far fewer in numbers? I say this in defence of Euro- fighter, because its a MRCA (like the Tornado/ Jaguar before it). The EFA project is pro-Europe project, shouldn't UK be supporting its community closer to our shores (Germany/Italy) rather than buying something where the majority of tech involved is from the USA?
