While that may be true I am sure you have to take into consideration that most likely this was recorded using a crap camcorder microphone and even more likely you are listening to this sample through a pair of low powered computer speakers that are not up to par with say a Vintage Fender amp! As the saying goes a chain is only as strong as its weakest link. So when comparing I would take this into consideration :>

Yeah - that's the mic breaking up on the camera because I had the amp on 5. It's an original 1965 Super... I love it!

hi. i'm doing a survey on the highly overlooked subject of guitar strings. please tell me your string guages.... brand would be nice too, please. i'm trying to discern what guitarists notions and realities are of heavy verses light guage strings. my thinking is that most feel that the heavier the better, at least to a point.... your comments are valued. my best walter

hmm...your a great guitar player but that pedal is NOT worth the price at all...my king of tone analogman pedal and my ts-808 pedal reissue sound way better and i have the same amp...maybe its because your using a mim strat idk.

It's considered an overdrive. I would group it with the Tubescreamers - yet it's not a clone of one. It does the boost thing VERY well and I like the overdrive on it - yet you will hear and read that many people do not. It's all a personal preference on your playing style.
