  • Yepp without George Martin nothing special...perhaps...but together they made history. Beautiful songs.

  • fab!

  • Don't forget the input from George Martin - if you listen to their demos before he worked with them they sound quite mediochre

  • During this period of albums, The Beatles kept raising the bar, going into uncharted territory with each new release.

  • FINAL REPORT: The Capital mixes were the best! 1987 was BS! So, here we are with this great, expensive set only to find a higher volumn on that 1987 shit!

  • Thanks for uploading the mono / stereo versions of each track back to back like this -- it makes it easy to listen for the differences.

After listening to several tracks like this I am amazed that I prefer the mono version of most of them -- maybe cuz that's the way I have known them for 40+ years ? It's interesting to hear the stereo versions tho -- the vocals and harmonies are much clearer.....

  • I noticed that the remastered version of Rubber Soul is missing a song. I have the vinyl from the original release, and the song It's Only Love is on the album. I know it appears, at least on some versions, on the Help! album, as well. I am curious as to why it was not included in the Rubber Soul remaster.

  • @1dublj It's Only Love was on the American, Capitol Records' Rubber Soul, but was written, recorded for, and appeared on the British HELP! LP. As the British versions are standard worldwide now, that's why it's not there on this remaster.

If you prefer the American versions of the albums, I highly recommend the Beatles' Capitol Albums Box Sets.

  • Are these the ORIGINAL 1965 Stereo mixes that we've been dying to hear for so long?

  • Yes,i have the mono box set.

  • YESSSS!!!!!!!! It's about time we got to hear them. I personally think that the st. remaster of Rubber Soul and Help! just plain suck next to the others, b/c they used the sterile sounding dig. tapes of the '87 stereo remixes-Almost NO diff. between the remastered versions and the pre-existing CD's. I have to wonder why Apple/EMI/Capitol DID THAT?! Why didn't they just use the orig. st. mixes for the st. remasters? woulda made more sesne. Oh well..but thanks for posting these! awesome!

  • How did we idjit Americans LIVE with only hearing that slinky bass line in our LEFT EAR ONLY for all those years. I feel like George Bailey!

  • the beatles rock

  • Brilliant album by the best band in the world!
