@ELITEWAFFLES9 i beleive the reason this will not happen is out of fear that the atf could label the surplus 5.45 ammo as armor piercing and a pistol with armor piercing rounds is a big no-no

it may or may not be correct buut this is what i hear/read through out the internet and gun shows

It would be a very bad thing if these came in 5.45.

You see there a retarded import restriction on "armor piercing handgun ammunition".

If there starts to be 5.45 pistols then all this wonderfully cheap ammo will be banned from import.

It's already happened with 7.62x39 and .308.

@TheGunShaman steel core ammo was banned from importation years ago look up olympic arms they even apologized for making a pistol in 7.62x39 that caused all the problems

@glock10mm I see now, I thought he was saying that all 7.62x39 and .308 had been banned from import but that only applies to the steel core stuff, makes sense now, since most surplus 5.45 is steel core that would be a bad move to make a pistol in that caliber because most cheap 5.45 would be banned from import, which would really suck!

The main issue with this is they have the incorrect barrel length installed with it poking all the way out of the flash hider (Would need to be cut down to SBR) and it being in 556 is not going to sell that good on top of having to buy a krinkov sidefolding stock and parts then paying a builder to make it happen.
