  • I love the martinhorns-quite agree Scousefire they are superior and sound like a 'proper' emergency tone instead of sqeaks and squeals like most UK 999 vehicles....

  • @HWLUIGI yes

  • Hideous Fire appliance, hideous siren, Whats fire fighting come to, what we need is the old Dennis SS, bedford Tks and the old rapiers!

  • they recently been given a new MAN 58 plate applience which replaced the mercades atego in this clip

  • Way better than the Federal Q and British style horns!

  • My volume was a bit high then and the sirens just came on...I need a pee now

  • Did it make u jump when the horns came on?:) Great siren, pity about the lightbar - use LED-Xs in a lightbar and you're going to get a lot of blindspots, especially using 2 "corner" modules at each end - as can be seen here, where's the light gone?

  • I definately wasnt expecting the horns to be so loud ! : )

  • Great Catch. Love The Two Tone, And Nice Fire Truck.

  • Martinhorns in england? Thats new for me.

    Sounds very nice!

  • I'm sorry. I mean the UK.

  • I agree, a great sound - far superior to electronic sirens!

  • As I know, Martinhorn used in West Sussex & Bucks FRS, too

  • Ah lovely. I walked past this station on my geography trip last year :) Got a nice pic of a Merc Sprinter parked outside the ambo station and a grainy shot of 2 older Volvo appliances.

  • Great Sirens, And A Great Video :)

  • Very nice indeed, them sirens may be annoying but are damn effective!
