The Honda Accord is better built and has more standard kit than the equivalent BMW, Audi and Mercedes. People buy German because they are desirable, not necessarily because they are better. The Accord is a better car in terms of reliaibility and equipment, the image however is where it lets itself down. They are associated with a mature person, a grandad's car if you will.
Still they are excellent mechanically and I would pick one of these over any German equivalent any day of the week!

Yea i totally understand you, because you have only seen Honda's for US market. I tell you man, Hondas for european market (Civic, Accord, Legend) are built as well as Audi and BMW. And those arent my words, those are words of car testers. Accord in europe competes with BMW 3, Audi A4, Merc C class and Lexus IS. Altough, all other european 4 door sedans like Renault Laguna, Citroen C5, Ford Mondeo, Opel Insignia are premium too. There's no difference betwen them and BMW, Audi anymore. All 10/10.
Im sorry but you are incredibly wrong. The new Civic is no way near the quality of a Ford Focus let alone one of the premium German brands.

Car testers are full of shit. II was the owner of a 2007 Civic and it was one of the worst cars i have owned. I will happily send anyone pictures of the paintwork on request. Do not get me started on the rest of the car.
