I love the effect the actual hall has on the tone colour. The hall provides a very beautiful layer of sound to the melodies through it's echoes etc. .
140 pieces of wood and 8 metal wires + humans - and this is what comes out !!! It made me think not to forget our human interactions because all of our imachines would be nothing without the humans behind them .....
@jasonform Why? maybe you're deaf and can not you hear? :)))))) Be quiet! I spend a lot and will be a video you will learn from it !!!!!! Fuck your "idiot" mother! ;) You Talentless...
I) Wonderful - Performance & 2) a) I urge all the "petty" critiques" 2 focus on general taste rather than "own taste" thus be open to "xlnt" music & "new arrangements" & b) to all the (young) people who so often lack "modesty" & think they "know it all". Try to enjoy such music without tearing it down & risk not being pathetic... ;-) Good luck leading a happy life ;-)
I saw Alexander Markov do the Paganini #2 Concerto with the Phoenix SO live. It was really a treat. He does a great La Campanella. As for this performance - very stylish!!!!!
I like them both as well..Albert is a very fine violinist, without all of Alex's flash--but I think elegant...I like Alex as well. They are two I would certainly love to see in concert! I honestly like this best when done with a cello and violin, but they do a fantastic performance here--agree, great style!!!!
he means that alexander is playing octaves instead of the thirds and the other double stops. he plays straight octave fingering. hes amazed if i right that he does that because its hard.
Markov Really knows how to be dramatic (as in his 24 caprices) He uses the technique of starting a variation off slow and picking up speed, and he uses it to great effect.
Gracias errolix, saludos desde tijuana B.C.. tu tocas algun instrumento? yo estoy empezando a tocar el violin,,, me parece un sonido hermoso,, Bueno muchas gracias
@jstot1231 I had Albert Markov as a teacher too for 4 years in Manhattan School in the mid90's- I benefited the most and I am really glad I studied with him. Such violinists, teachers, and music personalities are really hard to find- deeply rooted into the REAL tradition yet openminded and in love with the functional

This performance, which looks like it took place at Carnegie Hall, is wonderful and brilliant because of the father/son combination, which makes it so much better.
Absolutely brilliant despite the amateur sound of the video equipment. Both Markovs have incredible techniques. This is not the usual arrangement of this piece.

It's probably the best interpetation out there I'm a big fan of perlman for exemple but this one with markov son and father is quiet impressive...

Безусловно Марков хороший скрипач хотя зачем что то переделывать в произведении непонятно, но неужели не нашлось крепкого альтиста для этого дуэта((
