I have worked it out! The moment when the gentleman apear to transport behind the screen, what you actually did was stop filming, and recompose the scene, then start filming again. The time inbetween was not caught by the motion capture device! Then by knitting together the end of the previous clip with the beginning of the other, and projecting it, it gives the impression that no time has passed at all! Fantastic! Louis Le Prince you truly are a visionary! Unless... there's real magic afoot?
