Great work Sifu, it looks very good, its good how you did it slowly, those of us who want to perfect our forms can really take the fine details from such a performance of this form. Thank you.
@MrSinantra There are vids of two of my students Provisional Masters Carmelino Guiao of Detroit and Ryan Kennedy of Canada doing Chun Kiu and Biu Jee.
Great stuff Master Redmond! I see some ppl on here are rude and dont understand. Most never been in real fights. You know when I trained under you a couple years ago, when u change my wu sao from chest to nose level, i didnt get it then, until u said that less energy to drop it than raise it. If ppl want to be naive or not consider adapting then let em.lol
Yes , i am of average ability in my class . My Sifu did explain that the lineages have many differing variations to the point where you will say "We dont do it like that" Thus " it must be wrong" . This is not the case and am sorry if i offended you SifuPR .
Do you fight with your WC? I did and won. Our students do and win. Fighters know that most people are headhunters so my hands cover my uppergate. All WC doesn't look the same. There are many different lineages of WC. I've studied with 4 of YM's students over the last 39 years and they all have different approaches to WC.
I'm not making any mistakes for my version of WC. I have clips on my channel explaining why I do what I do.
sorry but your movements are a bit off, hands are to high for one ane everything is just not right. just have a look at ip chan and you will see how many mistakes your making.
There are different lineages of WC. Just because one doesn't look like yours doesn't mean it's wrong. Our Tan and Wu saos cover our face like you would in a real fight. Also, most of the famous name Wing Chun people from HK NEVER had a fight. I'd prefer to learn from the one's that did. ;-)
My bridges are in the center line. Bridges can by any where along the center line. In the clip:
Sifu Phillip Redmond Chinatown Park the punch is to my head. If my wu sao was lower I'd get hit. You must cover the area where the strike is coming. Most people are headhunters. So the upper gates should be trained as well.
How are you doing? My name is shad i was watching the vid but i dont understand wing chun? I was just wondering if you had time to explain the importance of this style if that isn't a problem I dont want to come off ignorant thanx.
if Wing Ztun functions from a center-line priciple, why are your bridges in the upper quadrant of your torso...where is the center application if for is application....seeking to understand unbalanced perspective I suppose on my part

Most people only know of the popluar lineage of WC. There are many different lineages of WC. They all don't look alike.
