  • What brand of boots does Buell have on? My Chief just bought a pair and they look like they are ten times better than our rubber boots

  • @waterlogged86

They are Globe Supremes. Very comfortable, and warm for the weather up here in the north. Highly recomend them, even though we are not "Globe Gear Supporters". We wear Morning Pride Gear.

  • what state/town is this??

  • @stitches211

    Schuylerville, NY

  • @shcff31 oh im from Clarksville, NY- Onesquethaw Volunteer Fire Company

  • @stitches211

Good to hear from a fellow NYer!

  • @shcff31 and not too far from eachother either

  • i definitely have to agree with shcff31 anyone who does this will know its not that easy i went through firefighter 1 and many of the parts of the obstacle were the same and the course gets very tiring and many of them r difficult

  • does it matter how you get through the obstacles??? or do you just have to get through however possible?

  • The purpose is to get through however possible but to keep your mask on no matter what and never lose grip on you air pack even if you have to take it off

  • @shcff31 & to never let go of your air supply line, our fire instructors in fire fighter 1 made sure we never took our hands off our left shoulder strap / air hose. this is a sick practical setup

  • Hello, I am French and I am a fireman in my country, I like your fireman and your country!!!

I shall like(love) one days to come in United States even your fireman finally a small dream!!

Thank you brilliant video saddened I have a very bad Englishman

  • I'm a professional firefighter in north Jersey. I love doing the mask confidence course. This one seems pretty easy just very long. The one we run has floors that drop out, stairs, smaller and longer tunnels, charged handlines, breach walls (we really have to breach them unlike in this video), 12inch studs that we need to go through, also at the end of ours we have to rescue a dummy and bring them all the way back with us. At the end of our course we have to switch out our tanks.

  • where are u located im a explorer and where in tonawanda ny

  • That dosent seem like that hard of a course just really really long

  • Feel free to come up north and try it, I think you'll think differantly

  • is this 1 of the long mazes that feels like it will never end.....here in new york my maze is a bunch of climbing up down and around things but it takes 5 minutes as long as you dont go up the stairs to nowhere

  • WOW!!!!!!!

  • shcff31, What are the dimensions of the first box that Buell went through? Thanks.

  • The first box is about 27"X27" inside dimensions, but had rods of rebar through it. The second "skinny box" is 20"X20" on the inside dimensions

  • I wonder how many times do you all have to run this course like that? That poor guy Buell must have been sweating like crazy!

  • Brian sweats when its -20*.

  • Well, God bless him....I think you are located in a part of NY that sees very cold winters? I'm in NJ and we're freezing at the moment. Again, major respect to you and your fellow firefighters. Hope my vids help to entertain you guys. :-)

  • Sorry, I meant Dan, Brian is his brother.
