Portable ops + is online only besides the infinity mission. So but the original one for the story.

A "Infinity mission" is a word games use for a option to randomly generate a new mission at will. Most of the time this is unlocked after you beat a game (The original MPO doesn't have this, but it does random generate missions depending on how many spies you have). So it's basically just a random mission so you can gather characters for online.

This game is SO DAMN GOOD it's the reason I bought my PSP. And it was worth it too. The other titles can be pretty good, but IMO Portable Ops is an AMAZINGLY well made game.

Never. MGS will only appear on SONY consoles and game systems. That's why I chose PSP over DS. This game is so damn good that I'm willing to buy the PSP just for this game.

Metal Gear is not a missile, it's the thing on top of the missile that's metal gear. The missile only serves as transportation. This early version of Metal Gear is quadri-pedal (four legs), the technology in that time isn't far enough so it can be bi-pedal (two legs).

Snake shoots metal gear at it's leg with an RPG, and this new metal gear seems to be able to hover few feet above the ground.

Both MGS:PO and MGS4 are gonna be great, we finally find out why Big Boss creates his own group; The Outer Heavens and we'll see how Metal Gear Solid will end in MGS4.

I'm not sure. But someone said "Metal Gear is on its way!" when that missile is fired. It is probably what the very first "metal gear" looks like. Anyway i dun think metal gear is a modified version of Shagohod. Becoz they are two different projects from the same time, Shagohod was developed by Sokolov and Metal Gear was developed by Grainin and Otacon's grandfather but the design was stolen by Ocelot at the end of MGS3.
