I had this monitor but i sold it because it was too large for gaming,due of the size of the screen,it overwhelms you,but if you push it back the details are too tiny.And the glossy plastic is annoying.Now i'm getting an 19" Acer V193HQ witch is far better for gaming and surf then this one.

Ive Had 2 of these monitors in just over a year and they both have developed faults. My first was stuck on standby and wouldnt pickup my pc, and the second developed a white line along the bottom of screen. I am about to get my 3rd T220 from Samsung (replacement) and i am a bit apprehensive and worried if this one will go wrong.

it,s actualy still the same but samsung had made the next differences between it.

cuzz 1 this lcd lacks good deinterlacing of manny sources.

2 lacks pip feature.

3 lacks still frame feature.

4 lacks rca and s-video input,nor rca optional via scart.

5 lacks dnei engine.

but averagely features digital tv input but lacks full hd,whereas a true monitor features fullhd resolution.

LED backlit LCDs are the same as regular LCDs but with a LED backlight instead of a CCFL backlight. They are brighter. But just being LED backlight will not make any a difference for gaming. Just brighter.

Just go to sears and buy a LN22B350 22 inch Samsung for only 246 dollars it has a sweet wide picture screen the colors are sharp and you can ajust the colors the way you like and the VGA port on the back of the tv to hook up to your lap top with a VGA port to watch the internet with a VGA wire.This tv you can buy at a great price the other sizes will cost more money and the colors are excellent on this tv.

No, The T220 does not. Just DVI & VGA (I have this one, it's a decent monitor)

They also make the T220HD...

The T220HD is a HDTV / Monitor. It has 2 hdmi inputs (plus the other standard inputs), it also has a tv tuner & internal speakers.

Mother fucker this screen just simply sucksass for what its worth, $220-$260 and not even a fucken dam HDMI input/output not to mention its not even 1080p....anyone wants a 1080p with HDMI, DVI, VGA...get the LG w2353V-PF 23'' for $220 bucks from frys. PC,PS3, and Xbox anytime with it. Or if you want the full package such as TV and component also too check out the LG M237WD-PM Black 23" its worth it. Just suggesting not advertising.

It has HDMI bcuz its actually used for a TV , with the built-in tv tuner and speakers .. also there are areas in wich VGA(analog) precedes DVI .. but still new and upcomming monitors will only have DVI input and maybe HDMI in the case of the 220HD.From 220 to 220HD the only difference is if u need the tv tuner and shitty speakers if not get one of these.

What just happened at 0:35 is a pissoff like your sitting back on your bed or chair and your on YouTube watch shows or what ever and all of a sudden the F*CKING SCREEN GOES BLACK its bullshit when it does it u have to get up wiggle the mouse then sit back then in another 30 minutes u have to do the same thing again and again i wouldn't get it if u like watching shows on the internet but on VLC or WMP it doesn't go black maybe they can fix it but i don't know about that

Yup, it will work fine with your macbook. You just need an adaptor, which comes with the monitor anyway.
