A&E Biography - David Berkowitz - Part 1 of 4

I've seen David Berkowitz many times in the visiting room. My husband is in prison in New York. Mr. Berkowitz has many ,many visitors. They take pictures with him. He is up for parole soon again soon. He's got life on the end so they will never let him out. He seems normal enough. Always a creepy smile on him.

@MrJamieMathieson Then I will be booted out of my visit with my husband. You cant speak to other prisoners. But the whole place starts whispering and it's very distracting when he's on a visit at the same time. I don't do many visiting room visits anymore because we get family visits now. So I avoid all that visiting room weirdness. I just hope no stupid woman marries him and he get's family visits. God knows New York would allow it.

I can't imagine picking on anybody for being adopted, and I was a horrible child. I was beating the shit out of rockers, emos and nerds from the age of 8.

I lived just outside of NYC & was 8 years old when "Son of Sam" was still not identified and on the loose. Everyone was literally scared to death. I remember laying in bed, terrified that Son of Sam was going to come in my bedroom window and kill me. The entire metro area was on edge because of him. I remember when they finally caught him and seeing his picture in the news. He looked like a crazed maniac. You could feel the fear lift & people finally felt like they could move around.
