Wowie...that "Railroad Man" snippet was realy something else. Instead of doing the obvious ,and set the band in a railstation setting, some bright dude dicided,"let 'm float through the 'clouds'.....hit by a windmill,I'd say ;/
"Beat Behind The Dykes" was a documentary film by Bob Rooyens which was broadcasted originally on Dutch TV on December 30, 1970. Among the artists showcased on the documentary were Shocking Blue, Earth & Fire, Ekseption, and Golden Earring. Thanks! Disco Makberto
There was a first aid station just off-camera for dancers that suffered splinters from the dancing in the wooden shoes.....iiiiit's true!...damn what happened to the song in the middle...no wonder they were a one hit wonder.
Wow ! Are the back up dancers Dutch milk girls of Holland? At first glance they look like hordes of Mongol invaders of Genghis Khan. Ha Ha Ha. The songs are great. My favorites!
I have taken the Rheingold from Amsterdam to Mannhaim and the "Night Ferry" from Paris to Victoria. It was a boat ttain with Wagon Lit sleeping cars only train.

'Beat behind the dikes' was a Dutch programme, certainly not German. It featured upcoming or already famous Dutch bands, like Golden Earring, Sandy Coast and Shocking Blue.
I love how mariska dances sychroom with the girls in the dutch dresses. this must be a dutch recording, whiped out later in the 70's because they needed the tapes for new recordings. what a shame so much is whiped out. this was found in an german 'cellar' not so long ago. I am very very happy with it. thanks for uploading this.

Dutch go go dancers in wooden shoes. SW Michigan, near Lake Michigan is Dutch culture. So this is extra cute, considering.
