  • OH BOY HAHAH AHhAhahaAhahaHaHAha *Truck Flips* ................Shit just got Serious!

  • Any "frame" can be bent ...... HELLO !

Nice truck ..... I wouldn't buy a used one from out west ..lol

  • Awesome things happen with engineers get to do work without bean counters looking over their shoulder every five seconds. Props to Ford for having a brass set to build this truck. Ok Mopar, GM time to step up and build something to compete.

  • Get your feet off the fucking dash.

  • Ford really won me over with this truck. Not only is it very capable in anything that it does, it's also the best looking truck on the road hands down. Good job Ford

  • Damn I want to be a Ford engineer

  • you wouldnt want a manuel.. they pop out of gear. thats why they make them automatic and baja trucks have autos the same. but a slap shifter in there and your all day

  • i would lime to see a chevy do that

  • just a chevy or dodger or jap fag making up lies about a bent frame

  • raptor = bent frame = fail truck

  • @FlatwoodsDairyLLC Since when was there a recall for bent frames? I would really like to know where you heard this.

  • my all time favorite truck!!! Whata truck!!!

  • HOOAH. Fag..

  • badass.

  • I REALLY WANT ONE OF THOSE!!! :O WOW

  • I hope he doesint hit 88 mph or.....wait a minute:P

  • hahahah what a joke!

  • I loves this truck but I wish there was a model that had manual tranny ALOT less luxurious layout inside, no moonroof, mabey even radio delete, strip it down...street legal trophy truck basically.

  • bent frames truck dont buy it

cant go offroad without breaking it (bent frames)

  • @TheXUAEx SDHQ Offroad frame brace you can JUMP/LAUNCH the Raptor four feet in the air. You can go offroad without breaking it (no bent frames) $100.00 fix.

  • @TheXUAEx raptors dont bend thier frames.

  • All I have to say is "Bad Ass"

  • hey Mat have you had any problems with the frame bending on your raptor?

  • I want one. When are they going to offer a diesel option?

  • the raptor can do much more then what this video shows.

  • Should I get this truck or get a camaro?

You decided I like both to much to decided.

  • @metalrain300 truck for fun and if married camaro if single for speed and pull women

  • what do you have on that silverado ss????????? haaaa haaaa

  • 58 on the other side is a drop off . what the hell im going for it

  • that slope at 2:50 is no more than 14 degree steep

  • id wrather have the power wagon and cruise at 35.

  • best truck ever now that is a real truck so dont be jealous that your trucks cant do that lol

  • Matt, was this the 5.4L or the 6.2L?

  • @suntannedmedal This was made well before the 6.2 came out. I do believe Matt's personal Raptor is a 6.2 though.

  • This is actually really fricken cool! haha Matt

  • for the value this is the best thing out there

  • you guys are fucking losers, my 84 dodge in 4 wheel and first crawls slower than that down steeper shit. ram runner owns this piece of garbage, before you guys go making yourself look dumb look shit up. i have a 2010 ram runner, and it blows my buddy's 6.2 svt out of the fucking water in every way.

  • @Bilskirmir bullshit

  • @FMLprofessional facebook me fuckknuckle it it helps you sleep at night knowing a 22 year old makes more money than your dad

  • @Bilskirmir bullshit

  • @Bilskirmir Dude its a fucking truck calm the fuck down. its not that big of a deal

  • @Bilskirmir no u dont

  • @Bilskirmir you are so full of shit it ant funny Dodge is the biggest piece of crap ever look who went bankrupt dumb ass

  • @delemon6 add me up on facebook if it helps you sleep at night

  • @Bilskirmir Lets see your bad ass ram runner no video piece of shit.

  • They should replace all those "hill descent" and "offroad" buttons with a 5spd manual. A manual trans, and a driver who knows what they're doing will outdo any computer programming ;)

  • @fenderguitarist05 They don't even have to do that...just put it in 4 low and drop it in to 2. Engine compression does the rest.

  • @fenderguitarist05 Just read that hill descent is used because they don't have 4 Low.

  • @jeepinainteasy hmm thats odd. I feel like it'd be more beneficial as an offroad truck to come standard with a manual transmission and 4x4 hi and 4x4 low. I suppose not all that many people want manual transmissions these days.

  • @fenderguitarist05 Of course it's beneficial. Drove a modified 5 speed TJ for 10 years. Not sure if you off road but I have to admit all those times I got stuck on a steep incline and had to juggle the obstacle while not stalling - automatic would have come in handy. Can you imagine a 5 speed in those trucks. The stick would be almost 2 feet long like in the old days. Can't put a short shift on that or at least make the set up look good and that's what people want these days.

  • @jeepinainteasy I offroad occasionally. I never encountered any hills my 4Runner with its 5spd wasn't able to overcome. Sometimes an auto woulda been a little easier, but the fun is in the challenge. haha I can only imagine a big ol' shifter though. Idk I still think it'd be cool to see a 5spd option for them, just personal preferance I guess

  • @fenderguitarist05 the manual is the way to go i agree you get more torque

  • @daddyfatsackish Hopefully theres enough people out there who prefer it over automatic that it makes a comeback!

  • Can I have one? Plz?!

  • Killer Sideburns

  • I haven't wanted a truck this bad since 1999 when I saw the Lightning. I bought one and owned it for 6 trouble-free years, which is saying a lot considering it was heavily modified most of its life and was driven hard. I have an f350 now, love it, but I'm drooling over this Raptor.

  • i like the truck but shut up about hill decent its been on the range rover for ten fucking years

  • I know what I need when March 21st comes around...

(On March 21st apparently the zombie apocalypse is supposed to begin.)

  • why do they always test these trucks in pussy conditions my 30 year old truck goes threw worse shit in 2wd with stock suspension. give me a standard f150 and ill do the same shit with out spilling my beer

  • @TheCrooked88 Lets see your truck go that fast on the same course without braking something. Even if you have a c10 or an F series they did not have the suspensions that this thing has now.

  • @edersiomoran like i said pussy CONDITIONS! they dont even push the limit of the truck i fly my shit through every thing and it holds up just fine. if this raptor is sooooo! bad ass then put it through hell not a sunday drive better yet let a pro drive it like robby gordon not some chicken shit the guy driving in this video is a bitch lol

  • @TheCrooked88 Probably for liabality reasons and the lawyers for the show are involved. Also these are TV truck show guys, not pro drivers. I'm not even a Ford guy and I would buy this truck.

  • best part is that in comes stock with indipendant suspension

  • This is the truck that says fuck to MPG and aerodynamics. It's got a real life - it jumps, bumps, humps and more importantly, pumps you up!

  • shame they dont make a manual

  • @haveacigar420 f150 don't have manual they all don't dumbass..

  • @austderstine1 Actually, my 2006 has a 5speed manual... Genius

  • Comment removed

  • @haveacigar420 could you put a manual transmission in the 2011 SVT Raptor

  • @TakeABreakGetBaked Coarse they could, but no demand for it and Ford is probably worried about all the extra warranty claims from all the clutch bombers out there

  • @haveacigar420 but you 2006 is not a svt rapter dumbass

  • @haveacigar420 Your 2006 WHAT? Error, missing direct object on line 1. Genius?

  • @haveacigar420 Last time I checked Raptors came out in 2009... Genius

  • @haveacigar420 the 2011 has a manual shift mode.

  • @haveacigar420 I feel ya.

  • I am not gonna buy a used one.

  • Its like stopping a plane. -___-

  • where is this? it looks like california city

  • 1:30 I'm gonna give it some gas XD

  • Come to fordraptorforum. com

  • Man, my grandmother is quicker and tougher than that truck. Of course she's 6'3 250lbs.

  • blah blah blah quit arguing.

  • Aii Raciing : STFU

  • race-dezert com/home/ford-raptor-wins-dakar-14311.html

    is that stock enough?

  • @EatmyDust1311 She won her class of near stock vehicles, not the whole shebang.

  • @eyeAMtwinkEE and was the only truck of 11 to finish. robby gordons hummer blew its tranny in 3 days. otherwise, a bone stock raptor with a few changes to keep sponsors happy.

  • @eyeAMtwinkEE

    this guy.....

do you know what the DNF rate for the baja 1000 is? Just finishing is a hell of an acheivment

  • @Worm976 Near stock VW beetles have completed it.

  • One thing you 2 arguing school girls haven't talked about is building your $30K raptor killer... Fab shops won't let you finance it so you need to have a pretty nice savings sitting around to dip into. Raptor, you, me, the bum on the corner, etc can walk into ford, finance it and go play in the dirt today. Now the whole financing a toy is a completely other debate but that's where the raptor wins, it's obtainable where a $50K built '04 f150 that KBB's at $10K isn't for most.

  • @sirhk100 you can finance a loan through any bank if yo have credit.

  • only bitches need hill descent, real men fly down that shit.

  • Sure the Raptor is slightly overpriced, but is worth having a truck that will take the abuse of the Baja 1000, tow 6K lbs, and be able to take to the dealer if something were to break. all you morons forgot to add the UNDER WARRANTY issue to your stupid argument...

  • @Worm976 supposedly he knows the only shop in the world that will warranty thier builds. i have never heard of it....

  • @EatmyDust1311 have you ever bought a new vehicle?

  • @Worm976 In stock form, the Raptor isn't even SCORE legal.

  • @eyeAMtwinkEE

no shit sherlock, its missing a lot of things that are not street legal, like a fuel cell, roll cage, 5 point harnesses...

but for a stock truck, its quite impressive in what it can do. Yes, obviously you can build better for less. but you cant take your driveway creation back to ford when you rip the drivetrain apart.

  • i change my wife 4 one raptor svt

  • Why spend $40,000 on a truck with barely twelve inches of REAR travel, when you can build a fully caged Ranger/F-150 with at least 20" of travel for half the price? Seems like a lot of money spent of a truck that really won't be that great offroad. Plus, this truck is HEAVY. 6,000 pounds, really?

  • @eyeAMtwinkEE ignorant comments make you look stupid. A this is a brand new truck with the 09 f150 chassis, full luxury interior, warranty, and driveability every day. B the suspension spent months being fine tuned specifically for the raptor. how much would it cost to have FOX fine tune your suspension? C if something breaks, ford will fix it for free. if they dont (and in most cases they do) you can buy it from your ford dealer... not wait for some shop to fabricate it for you

  • @EatmyDust1311 Then build an f150? Still cheaper than this Raptor. Fox, and other shock companies, do valve shocks specifically for your vehicle and usage when you buy them, and most can easily be valved by any shop for cheap. Unless your truck is custom built (and for a truck in this price range, it will likely be a kit), it won't take any longer to install components on a Raptor than a f150. Many kits and shops have warranties.

  • @eyeAMtwinkEE not valved, tunes throughout the entire travel. there are kits, but none of them are warrantied. no built truck will have the on and offroad refinement the raptor has. it is the bet of both worlds for less than you could do yourself. aftermarket shocks alone will run you 3k, then wheels and tires 3k, then a arms 1k differntial 2k widebody kit... it goes on and on.. also, the 6.2 is only available on raptor and other 11+ f150s.

  • @EatmyDust1311 Yes, valved. Most companies offer valving when you order the shocks, and for a small fee, you can get them valved by a shop or the manufacturer. Warranties vary on the company. Unless you're running a trophy truck, quality shocks (fox, king, swayaway) will run around $2,000 at most. Check out Dixon Bro's, Camburg, and Brenthel Racing. They all offer longer travel suspensions than the Raptor for under $5000. A long travel f150 can be built for under $30,000.

  • @eyeAMtwinkEE suspension travel is nothing. ford SVT and Fox spent 50,000 (fifty THOUSAND) hours tuning the suspension on the raptor. no shop has the resources that those companies have. plus, the raptor is a luxory truck. it has ever feature imagineable. then the electronics. no other truck can touch the modes it has, like recalibrated ABS for off road or a diff thats locks up to 100mph. the tire compound was made specifically for Raptor usig softer rubber and different bead pattern... + 6.2

  • @EatmyDust1311 Suspension travel is important. You can't go through whoop with an inch of travel. No one said you can't build a suspension for a vehicle with a nice interior. Those modes sure do sound cool, but I can assure you that plenty of trucks that cost less than $40,000 WILL outperform the Raptor offroad. I don' know how much knowledge you have of offroad racing, but the internet provides a plethora of information. It really could help you. If you have any questions, just ask.

  • @eyeAMtwinkEE yes it will outperform if you buy a old truck and then throw a brenthel kit on it. but that is not what the raptor is. first, its a new truck so you have to account for depreciation. no new vehicle is a good deal if thats all your going to say. second, its not all about off road performance. i have a dirtbike for that. its about a great value daily driver that takes a beating on weekends. not to mention, the 6.2 motor

  • @EatmyDust1311 But you don't need to purchase an old truck. Sure, it's cheaper, but no one stopping you from building a kit for a 2010 f150. I have a 2004 Toyota Tacoma with a Total Chaos front suspension and King 2.5x8" coilovers in the front, and deaver rear leafs with King 2.5x8" triple bypass in the rear. It rides on 35' BFG AT's. It's bumped and strapped up front at 18" and 20" in the rear. I drive it 40 miles a day to school, work, and then home. It handles great on, and off, road.

  • @eyeAMtwinkEE the tacoma is not a full size truck. the raptor is a brand new luxury truck with a brand new motor. dont compare apples to oranges because for 100k you can have the raptor xt with 2 locking diffs, 18" of travel and a roll cage. i like custom trucks, but you cant compare them to the raptor. have you ever even driven one?

  • @EatmyDust1311 You're right, my bad. A Tacoma is not comparable, but read about full size prerunners like f150's and Silverados. Are you seriously suggesting for 100k, the Raptor is better than a built truck? Keep in mind that a trophy truck can be built for 100k. That's 30 inches of travel and at least 600HP.

  • @eyeAMtwinkEE there is no way in hell you can build a trophy truck for 100k USD. That is at least 300k for a good one, and then yo have to maintain the damn thing. according to "desertrides com/reference/racing_classes.php"

25k per race prep. why dont you try to break down the cost of yyour 30" trophy truck for less money..

  • @EatmyDust1311 Touche; however, you can still build a great prerunner for 100k that will outperform the Raptor offroad, and will likely have more power. Most of the custom built ones also often have luxury interiors. Look up Weitzel Motorsports, or any full sized truck prerunner.

  • @eyeAMtwinkEE you act like you cannot modify the raptor... i have seen one "luxury prerunner" that was made to copy the raptors looks. why would they want thier truck to look like a stock truck?

  • @EatmyDust1311 I was assuming you were arguing about the stock Raptor. In that case, yes, they can perform just as well as other prerunners with modification. I've seen cars made to look like donuts, does that mean all cars look like donuts? Why would anyone want their truck to look like a donut? Maybe they just like how donuts look.

  • @eyeAMtwinkEE yo canot build the equivelant or better of a stock raptor for less money.

  • @EatmyDust1311 2011 Ford Raptor: $42,000. 2004 F-150 4x4 Four Door: $10,700 (KellyBlueBook). JDfab 4-inch-over and 15" travel front end: $4,900 (includes King C/O's, bumps, etc). Deaver Race Pack leafs: ~$800. 2x King 3.0 Bypass shocks: $2,200. Glassworks front glass: $450. Fiberworx bedsides: $500. Detroit 8.8 Locker: $630. Misc. other things: $2,500. TIres and rims: ~$2,000. Grand total: $22,180. With the remaining $20,000, you can make a fancy interior and upgrade the engine all you want.

  • @eyeAMtwinkEE you got the price of the truck wrong. the MSRP on a 04 4x4 lariat was about 35k, not 10k.

  • @EatmyDust1311 The Kelly Blue Book value of a 2004 4x4 F150 is $10,700. If I wanted to add the money of a new truck I would have said 2011 4x4 F150.

  • @eyeAMtwinkEE heres the problem: you are comparing buying a used truck and modifying it to a new truck. if you want to wait 7 years for the raptor to depreciate and become a "old" truck on a previus gen chassis, fine. if you think that way no new vehicle will make sense. i could buy a c5 corvette for 15k and throw on twin turbos 5k and make a 600whp ferrari killer all day long... its still not a ferrari.

  • @EatmyDust1311 Are you STILL arguing that the Raptor performs better off-road than a truck that was custom built? Man, Ford's marketing scheme must be really good. Just because it has a "new chassis" doesn't make it any better offroad that any of the other vehicles I've mentioned. Face it, you can have a truck that is better off-road than the Raptor for less than the Raptor costs, and still handle well on-road. Apparently all you care about are buzzwords and flashy interiors.

  • @eyeAMtwinkEE i said you could not build a raptor equivelant for less. you cannot. equevelant means, equal to in every meaningfull way. i daily drive the raptor, so the interor does matter to me. when i have to sell it, a raptor will be worth more than a butchered race truck. you see, all new vehicles lose thier value after a while, so comparing a old truck to a new one on price alone is pointless. no new vehicle makes sense.

  • @EatmyDust1311 Okay, fine. You can't build a truck with the interior of the Raptor for cheap, but you can build one that is equivalent or better offroad for less.

  • @EatmyDust1311 Forgot bumper. Dixon Bros front-bumper: $500. Dixon Bros bed cage: $450. Installation (90% of it is bolt-on, so you could probably do it yourself) ~$7,500. That still leaves you with about $12,000 for interior and engine upgrades.

  • I admit that i am disliking this vid ONLY because, i think it is kinda stupid that, not just ford but Chevy soon too, have to market a truck targeted for offroad, when in my opinion, shouldn't trucks as a general, be something rugged and built for something like that anyway? Think of the farmers that are doing work in fields and such, you should be able to take ANY truck out like that. Not some "specially made" gimmick truck.

  • @mutedevil What farmer do you know needs to go 75 mph on sand? Standard 4x4 F-150's can handle a lot, but these are special conditions for special truck.

  • @nojuicewth dude, that's where modifications come in, i still think there is no point to this truck, if you need to go 75 mph in sand, get a sand rail or something, just a gimmick for redneck fanboys to drool over.

  • @mutedevil and i see no point in a $400,000 car that can do 200mph either. if you want something that fast just buy a race car....the point is, there are many off road enthusiast. that fact of you saying that there is no point in this truck is like saying there is no point in having a hobby....

  • @HellFire6006 Having a hobby usually means building something up YOURSELF, not have it built FOR you. Again, no point. A hobby is usually something you take pride in cause you put time and effort into it.

  • @mutedevil A hobby is something you do for pleasure in your spare time bro. No building required. This truck was built to both be a everyday truck (towing, hauling, etc...) while also being an offroad machine. You think theres no point? Fine, whatever....truck is badass no matter what.

  • @HellFire6006 A hobby is also something not for the lazy. Call me old school, but i would take more pride in something that I built for off road myself. It's more satisfying for me to say "I built that" It's like taking credit for something that's not yours.

  • @mutedevil there a different types of trucks. some trucks are for hauling and towing. most production trucks are built for that. some trucks, like the raptor and power wagon, were built to go off road. no, not all trucks are equal. the raptor is for the guy that maybe needs a truck, but doesnt need tons of capability, and likes to go offroad. face it, some people dont have the time, room or money to buid a truck themselves. also, the raptor just looks cool to some people. its a halo car, a SVT

  • 19 people love run in the streets with tiny hondas

  • i have a F150 XLT, SC 2010, is amazing truck in mud, sand, rocks, im very happy with my truck cant imaginate how work the Raptor

  • his man boobs were moving around more than the truck was. Awesome, Great Job!

  • chevy and dodge aint got shit on this truck it is a FUCKEN BEAST

  • @vers805 Chevy is working on a competitor to this though.

  • This is really awkward...minus the extremely harry arms, in the helmet and gloves we look exactly the same...

  • Too bad it's $54,000 or it would be in my driveway today!

  • a raptor where it's meant to be good vid!!

  • Ill take a 2011 SVT Cobra and AN SVT raptor. no big i just need a job and to sell a kidney and my right nut.

  • so whats the reliability rating on this truck? from what ive read its still basically an f-150 but with better shocks and tires. but if i took my f-150 offroading like this, there would be sooo many more things broken. so what did ford do to make sure no other parts will break. (i know it has skid plates)

  • i hate you people are comparing the SS and power wagon to this. none of these three are even close to in the same class. the only tthing they have in common is that theyre trucks

  • @SLaYD666 thing is this truck wont last a day on the rocks. its not work practical. the power wagon is. if you wanna go fast over ruff terrain get a raptor. power wagon = rock crawling muding and hauling ur gear to the job site or camp sight

  • MOOBS!

  • Put your feet on the steering wheel while going down a steep hill.

  • Sad part is...with realistic options, delivery, etc. you aren't walking out the door for less than $50,000

  • ocotillo wells baby!

  • Yea, its a nice fricken truck!!! The only thing is control the trucks decent is part of the fun!!!!!!

  • I'd love to have one, looks like a blast. But I kinda wonder whats in the fine print of that warranty :) I can just see somebody showing up at the dealer like "hey I was 4 wheel drifting through the whoopdy doos and I blew up my differential. thats covered under warranty right?"

  • i am a Jeep guy 100% however i give credit where credit is due and this is perhaps the most bad ass truck i have seen in years.....411 horse and insane amounts of travel on top of that it just looks so good compared to the other new pickups on the market.....not useful for much other than what they do in the video (short box, terrible fuel economy) but it would be a very fun toy :) hats off to ford

  • a kick in the but for chevy and dodge

    ford raptpr ftmfw!!

  • Yeah rayman, That's why Ford has been the best selling truck for over 34 years. Because the 2 bailout builders in this country had such great equipment that the government decide to reward them for their great contribution to the trucking world.

  • i can do everything you said at the end of the video in my grand cherokee wj ;D

  • @XchrismurphyX well lets see it than...lol

  • Ya, finally Ford made a good truck. Took about a century to do lol

  • I hate the grill. Everyone knows it's a Ford.

  • FORD!!!!

  • Very impressive!

  • "ahh this a good day at work" well take a brake an come pick me up!

  • wow id whip that truck arounddd soo fast

  • 7:51 he made it do the jump

  • definitely one of the better videos from Matt

  • the truck is badass...but i don't like a plastic grill...just sayin...i hope newer ones come out chromed up

  • @FlyAzzVato you don't put chrome on an offroad truck

  • @FlyAzzVato chrome and sand dont mix

  • I love these trucks but I would rather buy a OIIIIIO

  • 0:39 Ya, $40,000 in laughs. 6:09 Now hes just talking out of his ass. 7:51 apparently hes never seen a Subaru... My god if I only put $35,000 in an old F150 it would without a doubt, out do this.

  • WOW! these trucks look amazing! I want to get a 6.2 liter.... but then I'd have to move closer to the desert lol

  • Awesome!...I pick my 6.2 up tomorrow....WOOT!

  • @KevVader congrats :D

  • NOT AS GOOD AS A LAND ROVER DEFENDER

  • @lamborgboy yes but land rovers are for rich soccermoms

  • @ENTRIS1 Not in the UK Where i live and what about the defender
