if an operater hasn't got themselves into AND out of a hole like that then they aint experienced, sometimes in the real world - (outside the building sites) you just got to get over that peat bog, or get that last bucket of reeds from that side of a pond, shit happens, and remember your no stuck till shes run out o diesel!
Why in Gods name would anyone put themselves in a situation like that and if it was an employee of mine they'd be gone like yesterday. what a frickin idiot.
should of known when to stop and get back up. if that fills with water hes gonna be screwed. i nearly lost my brand new js160 like this a few years ago. gives you the shits for a while.
inexperienced operator obviously . even what he is doing in the vid is silly a good man will stop when only just stuck and ask for a wee pul out before it becomes a big dig out .
now this is just an Idea but wouldnt he be better using some kind of pads say made out of wood, that he can move about as he needs them to prevent him from sinking into that shite, ive been doin digger work for just one year and its only in a quarry so i wouldnt know much when it comes to workin on ground as soft as bog. hope ye got her out anyway buddy.
yeah there called bog matts. he shoulda used them. there such a pain when your tracking a long distance though when you gotta drag them and when you are on them on really soft ground you gotta be carefully cause they do like move away and then if slip of then you are fucked
ha ha ill bet half you cunts take the piss are nt even operators and ill bet the other half have never worked in peat before and LUNK71 if you ve been working a machine for 20 year and never been stuck you ve not done much on a machine
@alasdairmaciver123 true for you, i went in down in bog before with my diggger but thank God we got it out some people thought it was a great laugh when it happened calling the digger a heap of shit coz it was 15 yrs old and they had new ones, my digger is still working away for me and the banks have taken theres, whos laughing now. its made me wiser and shown me the difference between friends and dads boys(people that laugh at what other people has coz its old when what they have is their dads
.. Been operating for damn near 20 yrs , I've never managed to get an excavator stuck .. not saying it cant be done (Ive had to pull a many out!) ..... sometimes you just cant fix stupid and unfortunately .. sometimes the only cure for it is death.
I had an excavator down to the bottom of the house, but we got it out with the help of a smaller machine. They were both Proclains which are made in Gemany I think.
it is mad
