Absolutely bowled over by James Blake--and this guy's trajectory is paralleling Elton John's when he first surfaced--Brit piano prodigy with eerily emotional singing voice making his way across the U.S. for the first time...playing small rooms where he converts every listener...eventually landing at West Hollywood's Troubadour next Monday night...and I am counting down the hours til I get to witness his official coming out party there. Maybe Elton will show up to cheer him on.
I wish people would put down their damn phones and cameras! It's so annoying. Enjoy the moment. We don't need a crappy phone video version when we have pros that can give us this. Thank you.
in a world where jazz/classical academia is just beginning to recognize hip hop, indie rock, electronica, and so many other formerly dismissed genres, this guy is doing some amazing things as a conservatory-trained artist in an "alternative" world. to pull off a live performance for such a high pressure situation that can have this much energy just by watching online can only be bettered by actually being there. man, that would have been freakin' awesome.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
producers should stick to producing and leave performing to performers.
