okay this vid has way more reach haters than i expected so let me get this out. to you people saying "just release a halo 2 remake with better graphics and fixed glitches" they already did that with street fighter 2 and called it "HD remix". that game was garbage compared to the original; it doesnt work. and to the other guys whos main points against reach are "it has armor abilities" and "theres no BR". you're basically saying "anything new i automatically hate because i cant handle change"

@ihmen your comaring Halo to Street Figher, that doesnt really work. Its not that we can't handle change, its Armor Abilities as a spawn is making the game more luck based. if it was on the map to pick up I would love it, and I think it would be a great edition to the game. But when I shot a rocket at two guys, I did everything right and they Armor Lock and I .lose a double kill and rocket ammo? Not really fair. If they picked it up off the map, thats my fault for letting the other team get it.

@BlueRush011 i was not comparing halo to street fighter. i was using an example of why doing remakes of old good games doesnt work out like you expect. "Armor Abilities is making the game more luck based" no idea how armor abilities are luck based. if you have the rockets you're already at a huge advantage and the rockets are buffed in reach. so adding an ability that counters rockets balances the game and requires you to think more about how to get the kill instead of just "point and fire"

@ihmen If I got the rockets, its the other teams fault for not taking control of the power weapons. When I do everything right, I shouldnt get a death for it. There are over powered, I wont deny it, but don't add an armor ability to counter it, just force more team play. Another example is I turn a corner and a guy armor locks and I lose shields he exits and melees me. No way is it my fault, I was point blank, I had to melee or jump back, which if I did I probaly would of gotten double melee'd.

@BlueRush011 you're acting as if the rockets are completely useless now just because you cant get free kills with them anymore. theres alot of things you can do, like shooting one rocket then waiting for armor lock to run out then shoot the other one. its not that hard, just takes a little more brain power. and you'll only lose shields if they're armor locked for more than 3 seconds. so back away from them, dont stand next to them waiting to melee or you're going to die and it will be your fault

@ihmen If you melee (which in my example I didnt say im retarded lol) you lose your shields, which off reaction you would and by the time they armor lock most peoples reaction time isint good enough to not melee. Rockets are still very useful and good, and are over powered due to less speed and worse guns (DMR pistol AR are all weaker) but Armor Lock is just out of hand. If I wasted a rocket on two guys in armor lock, I would probaly die (i may need to reload) or they would call there teammates.

@BlueRush011 i never melee armor locked people, i did that in the beta when i didnt know what to do against it. but when someone armor locks you're supposed to back away and time a good grenade. i dont think one melee to someone who just armor locked will take down your shield, unless they un-armor lock and melee you after your melee. also the DMR 5 shot kills players faster than the BR 4 shot so idk what you're talking about there. same with the pistol, it kills people faster.

@ihmen yes but the DMR has bloom, so you can't spam, well you can but it puts more luck and chance into the game. If two players spam, it doesn't matter whos hitting the head or what not, its who ever gets lucky. Armor Lock WILL take your sheilds out if you melee it. If someone point blank goes into melee, you can't "back away" you already would have melee'd and they can back out of ALock and kill you. I have done it before, though I dont use it much, others have done it to me.

@ajptem I've already mastered Halo Reach, and alot of others have as well. But I still liked Halo 3 better. Something about the Art-Style just made me enjoy it. Sitting down in my room with my window open and letting the wind and yellow light from the sun fill my room while I played on maps like standoff made me feel so relaxed. Halo Reach...the art style...just feels like almost any other shooter, atmosphere-wise.

@400racr mastering a game doesnt mean you jump everywhere like some type of fairy. Also, Art to a whole new level? Is Halo the only game you've played? (no offense). Look at Modern Warfare, look at Killzone, all dark-moody atmospheres and Reach is no exception. Again I come back to the point of maps like Stand-off, Avalanche, last resort. Those had very unique art-styles. All of them beautiful as-well. Now lets look at Reach, Lockdown = all grey. Boardwalk, all white/grey. Valhalla > Halo Reach

@damanwidaplans reach is most certainly an exception, besdies the maps from campaign which are supposed to be gritty, have you even played in forge world? have you played a game of big teams and stood at the top of paradiso and just looked out, have you taken a falcon and flew around forge world, the map is nothing short of beauitful and that is only a blank pallet, forge lets you shape it to your will, and i meant that it takes video game art to a new level i agree with you about mw2

@400racr Yeah, I have played all those. 1.64 KD, 1060 games played. I agree with you that Forge world is...well...cool. I wouldn't go as far as to call it beautiful, the most beautiful thing i find about that map is the sky. Seeing the stars...then what amazed me since Halo 1, the other side of the ring. Seeing it rise up in the horizon and go all the way around while seeing continents is beautiful. But the map itself seems like it is missing something. Look at Valhalla, now THAT map = beautiful
