I'm very concerned about this myself. Everybody both at my highschool and on the Internet were mysoginist, and they shouted me down for disagreeing with them.

I'm sick of all this crap on the Internet advocating that those of us who are males should slap women around. I can't stand it! You never see women advocating doing this to men do you? Not only that, but a lot of women on the Internet that are from California are supportive of it.

There was good reason for the negative backlash to that video. If your approach to ending sexism is to lash out at some generalized straw-man "online misogynist" with a smug grin and verbal vitriol, you've got a lot of work ahead of you.

Take a note from the civil rights movement. Worry more about ending sexism, and less about attacking sexists. My dad has made racist/sexist comments around me. I call him on it, make fun of him. I don't tell him to fuck off or call him a coward.

I'm not anti-feminist, but I have to say that I often differ in opinion to feminism as it seems that a lot of what goes on just tends to be what can be considered as hate speech against men. Its also understandable that you guys would censor sexist comments made on your videos, but is it really necessary to discard all opposing viewpoints. Like this comment, if discarded with all the rest you will have confirmed in at least one good-natured person that feminism today has lost its path.

Feminism is about re-creating a better society for both men AND women. Many feminists acknowledge that men got screwed by patriarchy as well (and they did). The "hate speech" that you say is coming from feminists is nothing in comparison to the scurrilously abusive, misogynistic attitudes that many (not all) men casually indulge in EVERY DAY. Take some time and really study feminism and you will see that it is (quite contrary to your view) just BEGINNING to find its path.
