I believe in equality for everyone but I don't go around looking up information for fun. Nothing to insult anyone, but I don't see the point. Do you know the capital of all 50 states, each state bird, and when each state was brought into the union? Maybe you do and maybe you don't. However knowing this answers has absolutely no bearing on your ability to either be American or love/like/hate America.
Learn about each other's religions, but also learn about your own too. There are many Muslims, Christians, Jews... in fact, people of most religions who don't know about their own faith. Therefore they make certain assumptions, and miss out some vital rules. And then, back to learning about others' religions, many of the people who abuse Muslims or many (but not all) who abuse religion as a whole, particularly Christianity, do not know enough about the religion. These are both big problems.

I think it's not that bad that no one knows about our religion, this would probably be our fault because simply we don't even know much about our religion. For us to explain something then we must understand it's true meaning 100% not just perform actions :) We don't know much about other religions as well. Plus it depends on where you live in. If you're in a place where forever coexist Muslims and Christians you'll find that they both share knowledge about their religions.

The aim of this video is NOT to prove people in America are idiots. Rather, the aim of the video is to show that there is a lacking in knowledge regarding Islam among the public; to emphasise the fact that we need to explain the religion to others so they too gain knowledge of Islam (i.e. do dawah). A similar video could be made about anything else, e.g. Physics, History, Judaism, Christianity, etc.

Consider and be reasonable: is it not possible that he is referring to altered versions of the gospel? Were there not varying accounts circulating about at that time of dubious authenticity? Let us consider, also, what if he is saying what you say he is: are apostles infallible? Was Judas? Or Peter?

It is sad that people don't know more about each other's faiths. This goes both ways however. (No fair Googling) Can you tell me what the following are and their place in Catholicism : Reconciliation, Transubstantiation, Immaculate Conception? I think we all benefit by reaching out and learning about the beliefs of others.

I think it's not that bad that no one knows about our religion, this would probably be our fault because simply we don't even know much about our religion. For us to explain something then we must understand it's true meaning 100% not just perform actions :) We don't know much about other religions as well. Plus it depends on where you live in. If you're in a place where forever coexist Muslims and Christians you'll find that they both share knowledge about their religions.

The aim of this video is NOT to prove people in America are idiots. Rather, the aim of the video is to show that there is a lacking in knowledge regarding Islam among the public; to emphasise the fact that we need to explain the religion to others so they too gain knowledge of Islam (i.e. do dawah). A similar video could be made about anything else, e.g. Physics, History, Judaism, Christianity, etc.

You would have to prove to me, that Daud knew Mohammad, and we know that is impossible, since King David lived thousands of years before Mohammad. @AlYassou3Rabbi - Ah the "david knew Muhammad one". It's merely a reprint of the Jews' argument against "Before Abraham was, I am". Unbelief doesn't change much over the centuries, it reuses the same arguments and the same tactics.

@3john4christ - If you feel that being crass, underhanded, and insulting is the right form of Christianity and feel that my perspective that it is supposed to be above such petty tactics and stick to calm, truthful examination of the truth is a distorted view, then you have two options; provide your verses to support this claim, or let us both wait until our deaths and ask it before God. Either is acceptable to me.

You said I failed to answer some questions, I asked which ones, and then you make a jab. I must wonder if this is intentional irony, for you have yourself failed to answer the question of what questions I allegedly failed to answer.

@PeterJDeer Sorry it has taken so long for me to respond to your last comment.I qouted the book of galatians 1:6-9,which states that whoever preaches a different gospel than the one the apostles taught will be cursed.You responded by saying that could he mean the different variations of the gospel accounts.My response to you is yes,that is one of the things Paul was talking about.But,we have to clarify what you mean by the different gospel accounts.Islam teaches one such variation.

@galatians5161718 - But the Qur'an does not claim to be a different version of the Evangel, any more than the Evangel claims to be a different version of the Torah.
Basically, what this comes down to is that the statement of one of the 12 apostles (who were fallible, as Judas, Peter, and Paul all resoundingly demonstrated) is interpreted to possibly mean something other than its overt meaning...and this is the basis of denying the Qur'an? Could not the Jews find similar means to deny Christ?

@PeterJDeer the bible teachings and the quran teachings are completely different,I'm afraid.What you teach,and Muhammed taught goes completely against what the Apostles taught.Therefore,Islam falls under Galatians 1.It is a cursed religion,according to the bible,God's holy word.

@PeterJDeer For starters your comparison is all over the place. Islam has 270miliion victims in its history since its inception in 632CE. It has 17000 acts of terrorism to its credit in the last 9 years alone carried out against non-combatants. If you are stating Christianity and Catholicism are in the same league, you are a blatant fool at best

I believe that there is no god save God, and Muhammad is His Messenger. I believe that Jesus was the infallible Word of God, and that God sent the Evangel and the Torah to guide humanity.
And I am sure every Muslim agrees.

The bible proclaims that if anyone teaches a different gospel(truth)than the one the apostles taught,God will curse that person(see Galatians 1:6-10).We believe as the bible says,when we believe in Jesus.There is no other way,no other truth,no other teaching that is from God.He is the salvation of the world! @galatians5161718 - Yes, Paul did say "if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed." Consider and be reasonable: is it not possible that he is referring to altered versions of the gospel? Were there not varying accounts circulating about at that time of dubious authenticity? Consider the battle between canonical and apocryphal accounts.
Let us consider, also, what if he is saying what you say he is: are apostles infallible? Was Judas? Or Peter?

Why do you think I have all these answers? Islam was something I knew very little about when I learned about this faith. Our teachings say the more closely we examine the denials of those who disbelieve, the stronger our faith will become. Rather bold, such an open challenge. But it is true.
I have heard every argument you have put forth before.

More to the point, Christian gentlepersons who have chosen to join us, if your objective is to convert others away from what you perceive to be error and save souls, then why would you approach them with insulting proclamations produced in an obnoxious manner, showing nothing but disrespect and arrogance? Do you imagine this likely to draw Muslims to your way of thinking? Rather, would not such practices entrench people in their ways of thinking, and promote conflict?

@PeterJDeer But consider: Being politically correct, using soft language, and trying not to hurt feelings is 1) not what Jesus did, and 2) crap from the modern way of thinking. I speak truth, like it or not. If someone doesn't like it, they're free to do as they will. But truth hurts sometimes, and after 200 years of new ways of dealing with people, I apologize for preferring the old way sometimes.
