@MezaseMaster you'd have to play the game. This game over scared me so bad back in the day x__x I mean the whole fright came when you compare it to the rest of the game. The adventure has a nice tune the background is fun then suddenly you get a close up of darkness and Jafar's face to reinforce the feeling of death x__x

That Game Over screen gave me nightmares, when I had this game back in Christmas 1993 along with my Megadrive, as a 11-year boy. Now, I don't find it that scary, but I can easily understand why it made me afraid, Jafar sure has a creepy face and laugh in there.

Disney did have a thing for scary and disturbing game overs. The PS1 version of Toy Story 2 had a game over that's not really scary but the music for it was scary.

i played this game when i was a little kid and when i saw that game over, i only stood there and didn't make a scream or run away. for the genie part, i didn't remember him doing the made you look thing cause when i was a kid, i saw him come out of the corner look around and then stare at the player who played the game for 10 seconds. that's how i remebered the last time i played this game.
