  • could a regular blender do that or does it have to be a really powerful one

  • What about real protein sources? I used to have a protein deficiency. Can you just eat seeds and nuts?

  • @SuperSickdoc also some viruses and bacteria can live in an alkaline enviroment, for example our stomach is acidic and out small intestines are alkaline and in both enviroments we have natural gut flora...

  • orgone pyramid!

  • Is it possible to upload this clearer ??

    from Australia ....

  • God , i Love this woman's energy... motivates me to buy a dehydrator to make those cracker recipe's and stuff :) - even more than before when i wanted to buy one for the Raw Pizza recipe's on youtube ^_^ :D

And i never really used pears in my smoothie.. however , never heard before that they smoothie-fy the smoothie :) - will try !

  • I want you to walk in with a glass of that green goodness and that beautiful smile and say good morning to me!

  • You are right that we have all that undigested stuff in our guts rancidifying if thats how you spell it. Is it possible to break it down through foods and probitoics, as i have had a few tests from doctors and they want to put tube up the bum and take x-rays and all that stuff. I eat rubbish and have only just found you, Donna Gates and Don Tolman which i am very fond of ..... Do you have a book or some tips. Can i break down stuff that has been there for years ?

  • our commercially grown produce is not irradiated. the FDA approved some products but they must be labeled as irradiated with the radura symbol. (a green circle around a flower). i see you sell enzymes on your website. interesting.

  • @eldrama2 I've never seen that symbol. I don't sell the enzymes, I have no financial interest in the products, I just think they are helpful for those wanting to heal from something or improve overall health and energy. Most commercially grown produce is irradiated. I will look for that symbol. Thanks for letting me know.

  • One problem alot of our fresh veg is GMO there is 10 hydro calories extra in each tomato etc pesticides and un-nutritional soil where it is grown from, I dont trust any food that is given here in uk each tomato looks the same and every veg looks the same in the shop.

  • This chic's off the hook I like her allot

  • What about purple Kale?

  • @TheLoserKingdom sure, you can use purple kale. Tasty.

  • @blythemetz I love this, it tastes so nice. Just a few things people should know; add a fair amount of water so it doesn't become a soup and when making juices or smoothies, try not to add opposite colours. Purple Kale does NOT go well with green Kale and spinach. I think it was off too! But apart from that this is a great pick me up and gives you so much energy. My stomach ache went after having a glass.

  • Manuka honey and raw apple cider vinegar with warm water makes a great, healthy and anti-bacterial tonic! I should have some now.

  • ***** :)

  • my question is how will I know where to find a place that sells "actual" organic produce, etc.? cause I've heard stories that even in supermarkets that claim to have a section that sells organic that its the same as the produce they normally put out therefore ripping people off for their money? so let me know how I can tell who and where sells organic produce? thank you

  • For fresh produce, here's how; The numbers on the sticker either begin with a 4, 8, or 9. 9 IS ORGANIC. 4 is conventional, and 8 or 5 is genetically modified. So always look at the little sticker on the apples, tomatoes, bananas, etc. and make sure it starts with a 9. For other goods, USDA organic should be trustworthy. Thanks for buying organic! It's best for you and earth!

  • about how much does this cost, say per week? I am a poor college student, but I want to start a raw food diet right now!

  • @TheHitez Same here! I'm a college student and I'm so excited to start a raw food diet, I just don't know how I'm going to be able to afford the tools (like a dehydrator) and all the organic food, organic is so much more expensive than regular produce. Suggestions??

  • @elanjuliette Grow your own stuff! But go by season.

  • I would love to try this recipe and I know that exact measurements isn't essential.

However, I would like to know if the last ingredient was water(?) and in what amount. Thanks so much!!!!

  • doesnt lemon juice kill enzymes due to its high acidity? I forget the raw food book i read but it stressed that citric acids are highly alkanizing but also destroy enzyme activity. You can cook animal protein in lemon juice shouldnt it destroy enzymes?

  • Huh, I never read that anywhere, I will look into that. Thank you very much for that insight.

  • Nice video. Great tips. We'll try it in a juicer and we'll definitely rinse our teeth too.

  • :p

    eww...

  • you are so cool me and my mom are doing the same now for 10 years and i am 20!! i am in med schooolcant wait to spread the word

  • brilliant, thanks blythe you rule.

  • man she's hot

  • i gotta make this every morning :P

  • I have a question, and nobody I have asked has answered this so far,

    PLEASE HELP ME!

how does one keep up with iodine in raw food if iodine is not present in the soil in which they live eg new zealand?

also with omega 3 without eating fish

im allergic to soy and lental products as well as nuts so im going to struggle with a raw diet!

  • Seaweeds have iodine, especially kelp.

Both flax and hemp seeds are high in omega 3s.

  • I love how you describe the importance of each food. I had a friend almost die from food rotting in his stomach. When they got him to the hospital they figured out what was wrong and pulled rotten food from his stomach. They said it was food that just kept building up and building up that was never going to digest. Yuck! Apparently it was COOKED collard greens, he was from the south and would eat that all the time. Cant you just see dcs pulling a wad of rotting green sludge from someones gut!

  • wow if i had that everymorning would I lose weight? and would it keep me full until Lunch Time?? Thanks

  • when you are raw how do you get enough calcium ? Im 16 but i want to make sure i get all my nutrition and my nutritionist says i need milk..grains and meat

  • Greens are an EXCELLENT source of calcium. I don't know why nutritionist don't tell you that. Just chewing greens can improve your teeth even. Milk is not a good source of calcium. dairy is acidic, therefore it actually takes the calcium from your body. Dairy has a lot of calcium in it, it just doesn't get absorbed by the human body.

  • wow i didnt know that. How can i tell my nutrtionist that i dont need dairy? So my bones will be perfect when i grow up if i eat alot of greens instead of dairy?

  • I'm studying to be a registered dietitian. And the basic Nutrition 100 class book said that green cruciferous vegetables - like kale and broccoli- have more digestible calcium than soy or milk. This fact was not emphasized in the class though.

  • OMG you're awesome, keep posting your videos. SOOOOO informative!

  • thank you!!

  • i like my coffee... after that the day goes down hill.

  • Very good and very simple. Just the way the public likes it.

  • Hi, yes it is true that most produce that is not organic is irradiated right now. This has been the practice for many years. The Solutions is to buy organic. You can order your organic produce from Timber Creek Farms, My parents live in chicago and that is where they get all of their organic produce, and it's less expensive than the grocery store, and delivered to your door. Thank you for your question. We're here for you if you have any more questions. Blessings to you!

  • I was under the impression that produce is not irradiated at grocery stores at the moment but that they are trying to get it so that all produce must be irradiated in the future. Correct me if I'm wrong? If they are irradiating it now, how can I get kale that's not irradiated - especially in the winter in the northeast when we do not have farmer's markets open?

  • great, anf try your own variations on it. It get board if I do the same things all the time, so mix it up with different fruits. It's good with a peach, pear or apple. yesterday I blended celery with cucumber and some powdered enzymes, and It was so fresh and light and cool. I loved it. It's fun to just throw things together and see how they turn out. Have fun feeding your body pure light energy from the Earth!

  • Awesome! I will try this for breakfast.
