This 94th minute league winner in mid April was huge for a few reasons

#1.Lifted the mood of the entire team having lost the previous game vs Leeds..3 days later Liverpool beat Barcelona in the UEFA Cup semi final. Went on to win UEFA Cup final..and FA Cup final

#2.From Gary's goal, Liverpool won 7 and drew 1 of the final 8 league games to qualify for the Champions League by a SOLITARY point

#3.Beat the bitters with the sweetest derby winner ever (outside the 3 Cup finals in the 80's)
