The lightings on the cube is wrong, unless you are shining a flashlight very close to the cube then it would be right, but if it is far away, the edges should be highlighted.

it's great that you try to make tutorials but one piece of advice is that if you want to do really good tutorials you shouldn't be afraid to go back and redo past topics in never better tutorials.

you should look doing these as HD youtube videos of possible because it is not ideal to just look at a tiny window of the screen around the mouse. a static high resolution image would be much better.

details like avoiding the jet engine fan in your laptop would be good too :)

I presume you mean rendering? Just go to Render or hit F12. If you simply want to see all the sides of the cube hold alt and drag your mouse. Not sure what the question is exactly, but hope that helped.

or he could turn off some background apps.if he went into task manager and went to processes he should probably know what he can turn off :). He can even buy a Air can (the can that sprays air :P) it can blow all of the dust off the fan if you take the back cover off. That stopped my computer from making a turbo-engine sound.

You don't draw faces in 3D modelers. You would need to create a texture in an image editor, like Photoshop, then do a UV Unwrap, then apply the texture, to get a 'face' on your sphere. :)

im pretty sure subsurf is adding subpaths (or more squares to the object to make it appear rounder...set smooth seems to bend the subpaths to make it look smoother. Probably while rendering if the subsurf is higher it will produce a bettter model

Subsurf adds polygons to the model, thus giving it a more rounded look. So, yeah, the smoothing smooths out edges to blend the polys together. Though, if you want to render at a higher level of subsurf, you need to set the Render At level, not just the main subsurf level

yes, if u hold CTRL and left mouse click, you will create a vertex. you have to be in edit mode to do this. Any subsequent CRTL LMB clicks will automatically join the two vertices with an edge

I was using an internal mic. I always record in high quality so their can be a lag at times. 10 minutes takes up 0.5 GB.
