  • wow!!! I love this! very cute this is my first time seeing something like this! Trying it soon!

  • how did u get your edges so smooth

  • Beautiful !!!

  • girl you got nice hair

  • Ok I have not had a perm in 5 1/2 months now and I have a lot a of New grow but I still have some perm left in. I'm trying to stay away from perms and would like grow my hair out w/o doing the big chop what are some good products to use and curly hair styles I can do... Please let me know thanks :)

  • I love your hair. I think I will try that hair due. What moisturizing lotion do you use?

  • i really like this hairstyle but i just want to ask, what is the purpose of the rubber bands?

  • how long does this style stay in your hair ?

  • Beautiful hairstyle

  • My question is how do you maintain this hairstyle, when you go to bed or during the week however long this may last I have micros in my hair now ready to take them out. I got a halo in august but my last full relaxer was in June :-) 4months

  • TY ladydede88

  • I'm 6 months into transitioning! I currently have seneglese twist in my hair, and can't wait to try this hairstyle. Very pretty :-)

  • @blacq is when u use conditioner (not leave in) In ur hair then wash it out...without using shampoo...

  • What is a co-wash?!

  • My name is Shaunte, and I’m transitioning to natural hair. My last perm was Feb. 2011;I have been wearing braids. I don’t want to chop my relaxed hair because it is long; so the twist style seems like it will work for me. I don’t know if I’ll ever chop my relaxed hair. Is that a good idea? And, do you plan on cutting your relaxed hair in the future?

  • i love this song who sings it ? x

  • @hunny652 Mary Mary - God in me

  • Do you always have to wash your hair before gelling it and styling? Because I find my natural hairstyles only lasting a little less than a week, and I dont want to constantly wash my hair every week.

  • Going to try this on my transitioning 9-year old!

  • pretty gurl! luv it! that no drip cantu is the bomb for naturals. it last a long time in my hair when i apply it to my wet scalp! nice job!

  • Very cute!

  • by the way where did you get your shea butter shampoo and conditioner?

  • I am definetly doing this because i'm transition too....i have been perm free for 7 months now and still going thank you so much for the video

  • this is the bomb!!!!! I am going to try this tomorrow!

  • you dont have to use the curlers at the end of your hair.. you can get the same effect if you tke your 2 strand twists adn twist them up into bantu knots. the permed ends of yor hair will curl up the same way they did in the video.

  • @shuantae1 you should try a product called cuc a bugz by reds kitchen sink it is so good i am in transition too. reply back peace and love @moneyindabankchic

  • That is my song!!1 lol I'm so busy dancing, I couldn't pay attention! I love this style! it's so pretty! Thanks for this vid!

  • i will be trying this! im going natural

  • VERY PRETTY

  • imma have 2 try this!!

  • U have the best video for it to be just all pictures....everybody else with the videos suck

  • I really liked this, im gonna try it once it get some smaller rollers

  • I Love this I've been relaxer free for a 1year and half, I'm doing it now as we speak wish me luck!!

  • Love this trying this weekend...relaxer free for 3yrs!!!!

  • I was ready to get a touch up til seeing your video. Your hair type looks like mine and when you showed what ur hair looked like after a wash, I was like OMG. What is your hair type and how do i find more hair videos and styles for our hair? My hair is dryer than your though but close enough. Help

  • @rickandtif I felt the same way until I saw this video. I used different products (only because they were purchased before I saw this vid) but got the same results. My hair is dry as well so I use Miss Jessie's products to clean & style and extra virgin olive oil (the kind you cook with) to mosturize...sounds gross but it actually works.

  • BEAUTIFUL

  • Nice hairdo!

  • Tried this hairstyle as my first "natural" style, and it went GREAT!!!! This will definitely be a regular style for me!!

  • excellent!!! Thanks for sharing : )

  • love it

  • I love this Hair style but What should i do if i don't have a hair dryer

  • What's your hair type? I'm wondering if this would work well with my hair.. I'm 4b

  • I actually did this style yesterday, but using different products. I loved the end results!! Where did u buy ur products from? One of my friends used it and then I saw it in a few other YT vids and I figure it must be good LOL

  • this is so pretty

  • Very cute. Thanks for sharing.

  • dont use this shit

i used it and my hair is as bald as steve wilkos's head

  • Luv it, thanks for showing me how to do it. Been natural for 17 months and just been wearing weaves. I am now ready for the natural transition and will be going out tomorrow to buy the stuff you have just shown me to do. Thanks

  • cute! trying that tomorrow

  • hi im transitoning 4 almost 7 months now and i will try dis hair style out i love dis video so much i cant stop watchin it :DD

  • i love this hairstyle...im transitioning also...im in my 3rd month...and cant wait to try this style out!!!!!

  • Love your hair. I too am transitioning. I want to try this at home. I have all the products I need except the wax. I notice you said at the wax to each section. Do you add the wax from root to the ends as you're twisting, OR do you just add the wax to the ends before the rubber bands and rollers? Thanks for sharing!!!

  • after I co-wash my hair and before i begin to part it in four sections am I suppose to towel dry it so itll be damp or leave it completely wet

  • 2cute

  • very nice! I love it... just about 6 weeks since my last relaxer so I need a new style.

  • could u use regular rollers instead of rods

  • love your hair im going to try this on myself thanks for the tips

  • I'm half white and all my life I was taught that straight hair was better. So up until 2 months ago I permed my hair. And now that I've stopped my hair is in better condition. I have trouble finding a style that will work for my confused hair. LOL. I will definitely try this one.

  • Wonderful video! Great music, good instructions and super cute style.

  • How long did this style last for you?

  • georgeous!

  • omg i can see myself doing this!!! #Beautiful

  • Very cute style. BTW...I love your eyebrows : )

  • Really cute hunney! thnx for the instructions, bcz i want to take my daughter's hair back to its natural state and i thnk this would be perfect!

  • @sammy69831 I'm on the same journey as you.

  • The style u did was cute maybe I'll try it later in the summer, bc right now I'm bouta go get some extensions twists in my hair, I'm tired of doing it

  • I always had long natural hair going up but as soon my 10th grade year into high school I got tired of my hair and I wanted to be like all the other girls lolss so I got an relaxer with in the year my hair broke off in 2009-2010 my hair wAs starting to grow back in summer 2010 I made of my mind to go back natural. But it's a pain since my hair broke off recently due to the tracks I had in for 4days. It was my first nd last time. I guess bc of the glue it plug out tonz of my hair from the edges

  • ha very very cutethink I'll do it tomorrow Im bout a year and 1 month post relaxer and so happy for alot of people i see just starting out realqueens.ning.com was alot of help for me

  • AWESOME !!!

  • i really love this ima try t this weekend! :0

  • Thank you for sharing!! I've been relaxer free for about a year and a half, so this really helps me in my transition!

  • I'm relaxer free for 6 months and was having trouble with the transition, ie hairstyles that looked cute. I was actually considering perming it, but your video gives me hope..LOL

  • I'm four months relaxer free and I'm looking for transitioning styles. This video is a great help and I'm gonna try this today. How do u maintain this style?

  • I just tried this after watching your video a couple days ago and I LOVE it! This is my 6th month being relaxer-free and I've been looking for hairstyles to try. Thank you! I was glad to see the Cantu products, too. I've been using those for a little while now. Thanks for sharing!

  • That's a nice transitioning hairstlye. Before I did my big chop I use to do bantu knots and they came out looking just like that. That's beautiful.

  • What grade is your hair? It looks great. I did my bc on 3/29 and so far I love it. I hope I can do what you did after six months of growth.

  • Your hair has a gorgeous texture :)

  • Love it! Could you list the products you used please! Just wanna get it right! Lol

  • Pretty!

  • Can you do this with natural hair that has about 2 inches of relaxed tips ??

  • @TheBabieegirl Yes. I used to do it to my hair when I first started going natural... I turns out very pretty.

  • Your hair turned out very nice. My daughter and I started our transition last month and we love it. Watching alot of Youtube video's on how to do this, it doesn't look like the rubber bands and end wraps are necessary, I would be too scared to use the rubber bands, but I guess that wouldn't matter if your transitioning. I like the idea of useing the end wraps because I take up too much time getting the end of my twist out to stay on the rod when I start my curl. So thanks, nice job shuantae1

  • Looks great I have been in trans for 5 mo. looking great...Doll

  • wow. i've transitioned for 7 months before and didnt have that much new growth. btw, nice vid!

  • Love the hair . You make it love so easy!

  • I tried this style over the weekend and I LOVE it! I did it Saturday night, and couldn't walk through church on Sunday without getting tons of compliments. Wanted to let your viewers know that I have 4a/4b hair, and it worked beautifully on my 4 months post relaxer hair. This is going to be my "go to" style, I don't think these curls are coming out unitl I shampoo them out :-) Thanks!

  • your hair is beautiful. u dont kno it but u are my encouragement to start out my natural hair journey. evrytime i feel a little in doubt i look at your videos. i am a new transitioner because of you!!! are there anytips that you can give me on this journey. i've only been transitioning for a 1 and 1/2 months. but i am a 22 year old that wants to start this journey. Tell me will this style work for my hair considering the face that it hasnt been that long of a transition. how do they last///

  • Thanks.....I will do that

  • This is really cute!!!!

  • CUTE! ima have to try this.

  • oMG. This is the first video where I've seen someone with the same hair style/texture as mines...I LOVE it!!!

  • Okay, when you fluff out your curls, Do you spray water, oils, leave in conditioners in your hair?

  • OK! Sis, you have REALLY helped me out with this one! Your hair is BEAUTIFUL! I am 19 years natural and TRANSITIONING! Ugh! The past 3-4 years i have kept my hair constantly pressed or flat-ironed, and my texture went "bye-bye!" So, I cut a long bob (sacrificed 5 inches in some areas) and am working to transition. I wish i had seen this video before i cut that length off, but it's ok. Less to roll, less to dry. I gotta watch again and write down the products.

  • First off, your soooo pretty! That hair stlye fits you sooo well ! and its so cute too. How do you make the front hair the roots so straight ? do you use gel for that ?

  • love it !! how did you get your edges to lay down like that ?? or is that still the relaxer ?

  • @anke3000 im kinda thinking the edges would be the natural growth and she used either the wax..or the gel to get them to lay down?

  • lovely hair texture

  • wow that turned out great and you are gorgeous!

  • wow!! thanks bc i had no idea where to began my natural journey

  • I love how your hair turned out! Just wondering, could you tell me how you maintained it? How long does it last?

    Please and thanks!

  • Your hair is so beautiful and you have terrific skin! My hair is very, very short from just doing he bc so it will be a few months before I can do this style. However, when I am ready, I will definitely refer back to your video. I love the Mary Mary music as well. Truly awesome video. God bless you.

  • i think this will definitly go on my list og hairstylz with my new natural hair vibe......LOOOOVE IT!!!!!

  • I really enjoyed your video. I am just beginning on my journey to transistion to natural hair. I actually will be going to get my hair cut off because I still have some perm in my head. I just need to know if I exercise five to six days a week, should I co-wash everyday afterwards?

Also, do you take any kind of vitamin? Right now I take one vitamin E and a prenatal vitamin.

  • Great video, girl!! When I was watching the process I was like, huh, what is she doing., but it turned out great! I love it! How do you keep it at night. I got a relaxer a month and a half ago and I am pretty much committed to growing my hair out, provided I get a solid transition style repertoire.

  • You have great skin!!!

  • GORGEOUS!!!!! I'm nearing 8 months post and will try this. Does it work on long hair?
