A good analogy to Obama winning the peace prize would be the Miss America pageant. Even tho Ms. Illinois (Obama) and Ms. Texas (Bush) are blundering through the contest and Ms. Florida is the obvious winner (the nominee of the Peace Prize that should have won), the judges give the crown to Ms. Illinois simply because she said "Texas Sucks!".
Not only does this shaft Ms. Florida, but it delegitimizes the Prize.

This was all just a stunt. Obama and his minions knew that he was going to get this prize, and thought that it would just be icing on the cake. They were under the assumption that by the time he got it there would be a "glowing" list of leftist accomplishments behind him and the prize would vault him to Godlike status to the brainwashed American public. But since the only thing he has done is the failed stimulus, the prize only makes him and the media look like charlatans than more ever.

This prize has been given to Obama as a reward for Americans having the biggest army and making the most nukes. It is obvious that the peace prize has become a war prize. Hardly surprising since Nobel was a merchant of death, just like America now is.
Americans feel so smug they have been awarded this prize - AGAIN. It is devalued and represents the crawling nature of the Norwegian people. Of course their mates, the Brits, will support it too. Will the USA, Britain, Israel get the next one?

A recent theologian re-translated the old testament and re-introduced the idea that in Genesis it does'n't say the world was created by god... but animals and plant life only.l

I live in Italy, but I have lived mostly in florida. florida has many crazies. here in Italy there are a fair share of crazies and church and state aren't exactly seperate like in america but catholics aren't as closed minded as you would think. most of the priests i have talked to do not take genesis literally and instead think of it as explaining why and not how (like other legends or myths). its the born agains and evangelists that take it over the top, well atleast in my opinion.
