  • I just realized Owen is a carbon copy of Joey Jeremiah from the original Degrassi Jr. High!!

  • SMG was such a bitch! lol! No wonder she was cast as Cordelia and had to convince them she could be Buffy.

  • I used to watch this show religiously!...while it lasted. LMAO

  • Got damn this shit old!!

  • I used to love this show......omg I"m sandy swan your sydney rutlege

  • This and Fifteen were my shows!!!

  • This was my show!!

  • Sarah can make an entrance!

  • the fact that you got it from a vhs just makes the experience that much more enjoyable

  • I used to watch this when I was in grade 2.. I didn't realize it was only on for such a short time.

  • Callie's father, Captain Elia Walker is played by Gerry Bamman. I recognized him as Frank McCallister from Home Alone and Home Alone 2(which came out the same year as this show).

  • @otakugirl1979 Yeah, it was a good teen show. A million times better and realistic that that stupid,"Saved by the Bell" show, which I think should've gotten cancelled after it's first season.

  • @pytko3 How you can compare two shows in two different genre's is beyond me. One's a drama and supposed to have resemblance of realism and the other is a comedy where one character breaks the 4th wall...

  • I just watched part one of the first episode and I couldn't stop laughing- the ridiculous dancing, both the theme song and at the gazebo with the girl singing into her ice cream cone before a brunette sarah michelle gellar takes it away from her. That girl in the submarine- hilarious! I saw this show when I was probably five and I still sing that damn song sometimes- that is a tribute to how much useless crap I've managed to hold onto.

  • wow, i can't believe this show is on here. I use to set my alarm to watch this at 6:30 am when they changed the scheduleing time. i was so upset when they canceled it.

  • wow, i can't believe this is on youtube.. i loved this show. I remember when they changed the scheduleing time from after school to 6:30am . I used to set my alarm clock so i could watch it before school. Brings me back. thanks!

  • I used to love this show, but was never able to watch all of it. It came on a channel that only the big tv in the living room would get, & the show would come on right before my dad would get home from work & of course he didn't want to see it, so he would change the channel! Thanks for posting!

  • @pinkrosesjvm I posted a couple of good quality episodes that I found.

  • Does anyone what year this show came out?

  • @0Beba518 1992.

  • best show ever. i used to cry when i missed an episode.

  • sixpackgenius, you're my hero. I loved this show when it was on and greatly mourned it's cancellation!

  • i loved this how when i was younger! i was so sad when it wasnt on the air anymore. i didnt understand the politics of why shows got canceled at such a young age like i do now...its cool to see how some of the characters are huge stars now.

  • I used to love this show. Thank you so much for posting this. I used to have all the dolls!!!

  • Loved this show! I have a piece of hardware that can get rid of all those squiggly lines if you still have the tapes.

  • Ha the girls are holding hands! Guess people didn't used to assume people would think they were lesbians?

  • VHS quality FTW!!!

  • On the list of "Worst Things Sarah Michelle Geller Has Ever Done", there's "Southland Tales", there's the SNL sketch with her as Christina Aguliera and then there is this show.

  • OMG they almost killed those swans!

    Pretty hokey, but watchable.

This reminds me of another teen soap called, "Tribes."

  • About the bad acting, it's okay! I didn't really pay much attention to it! How could I pay much attention to it when I was only 6-7 years old anyway? All I really loved about it was the theme song. Anyway, sixpackgenius, thanks a million! Please keep them coming! I don't really care about the picture, so long as it's this show!

  • 5:18 - 6:14 I'm not sure, but I think the father of that girl was Macaulay Culkin's uncle Frank in Home Alone 1 and 2. By the way, not that it matters, but I was actually either 8-9 at the time this show was shown.

  • I remember this from the summer of 1992--one of the best summers ever for me. Loved this show! I always wished I had a house like Mila's with an elevator in my room! I feel lucky that I was able to see a good bit of these episodes back when it originally aired. This time period in television history was totally awesome.

  • wow! i can't believe how bad the acting is!! and to think i was addicted to this show! lol

  • My gurl Sarah doin her thang back in the day. Used to watch this show all the time.

  • I was upset when this show went off the air.

  • @zshaw7549 do you know why it got cancelled?

  • I remember when I was a kid I thought that sarah gellar's character was like the young erica kane, then later she played erica kanes daughter...weird

  • wow can't believe how bad this show was to think I auditioned for this crap glad I went to college instead

  • wow! i remember this show. goodstuff

  • use to watch this during the summer good times but damn vhs sucked.

  • 1:45 Does anyone know what song is it?

  • wow, sarah michelle gellar's acting really improved by buffy

  • Ahhh Swans Cross . . . the original Gossip Girls

  • They grew on me towards the end and I was rooting for them... Two great people. Yeah, Glory was the goody two-shoes and Mila, the naive one, but these two were actually the moral fiber of the show. Callie and Jimmy always stood for something, and didn't care what anyone thought of them. You couldn't help but dig them...

  • Jimmy was my fave too. He was played by Devin Doherty. Did you know that he's a singer too? He sings country though.

  • F**K me!! this was probably the most extreme random story lined programme ever!! used to love this!!! nice one for putting it up!!

  • I think what made this show so fun to watch was how bad it was. Wish we could have found out how it ended.

  • And they can't sing!

  • I forgot how bad the acting was!

  • OMG! it was 'Silver Spoons' and 'Dawson's Creek' all in one!

  • I had all the episodes on tape and lent them to someone on Prodigy.... they never sent em back :\\\ Great show.... They put it on at 1 pm during the day when everyone was in school which was the death of the show. Guess they thought old grannies were gonna skip Donahue and watch this instead!

  • OMG I remember this show. Everybody thought I was crazy when I told them about Sarah Michelle Gellar being on this show. This was one of her first shows and the Guy that played shuan Brady on Days of Ours Lives. People thought I was lying about him too. HHahah in ya face!!!!

  • erthtones..OMG...everyone things i made this show up in my head too! haha! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this show! hahaha!I still love it. but now after watching these clips...does anyone else think this is some bad acting! haha!

  • I don't think they were bad actors. I think they were directed to "camp it up" a bit, maybe taking it a bit too far at times lol.

  • Comment removed

  • This over-the-top flair in the first several episodes seems directed by the show's brass. In fact, I think the extra camp helped set up the show by establish the individualized traits of each character: Sidney's histrionics, JT & Neil's rocket experiment - going at it like two post-pubescent mad scientists!

  • By introducing the key characters' passions, insecurities, and strengths very quickly (and with such flair), they were able to tell us a great deal about each one without having to spend too much time on individual backstory or in flashback. Sydney & Garrett's bold behavior told us everything we needed to know about them for the time being; so on and so forth. It was necessary for the show since everything going on on-screen was based on things happened prior to the beginning of the show.

  • It was over-the-top, yes, but decidedly so. And if they weren't such good actors, they couldn't have pulled it off... I think it was great stuff!

  • Wow, I used to love this show, I remember rushing how to watch it after school!!!

  • I used to have such a crush on the girl that played Glory

  • My friends think I made this show up in my head...nobody remembers it! I loved it.

  • I KNOW EXACTLY WAT U ARE TALKING ABOUT

  • Exactly! I'm like "No, Sarah Michelle Gellar is in it! I know the dance!" But yeah, they think I'm making it up. We need an "I loved Swans Crossing" support group.

  • OMG!!! I love this show!!! When it came out I was in like 3rd grade. I remember one day they just stop giving it and I always wondered if I had dreamed it up!! I love SMG and I was in love with Shane!!! thanks for posting it its and oldie but goodie!!

  • It did feel like some sort of wild dream you kept having... lol Several months after the show had ended, it was hard to believe it was ever REALLY on... and then SMG was casted on AMC and I had to accept, finally, that my beloved Swan's Crossing would NEVER be back.

  • Boy was I glad to see her on TV again, though!

  • well I loved this show I was 11 in 1992 and I also loved sweet valley high california dreams saved by the bell and the fresh prince tv is just not the same anymore

  • I was THIRTY TWO when this aired in 1992 and I acutally enjoyed it! (And would have even if it was out when I was a kid or if I still been one in 1992 :D and I'm a guy, btw.:)) This was the very first time that most of us got to know Sarah Michelle Gellar and a few others while most (Carisa Dahlbo, Stacey Mosely.etc.) have faded into obscurity as far as stardom goes..very unique for a live action or any kids show by 1992.

  • I remember watching this show all the time...Thanks for all the post of Swans Crossing!!!

  • oh fuckin god my sister used to watch this show. she was in love with the kid on this show who was in that movie airborne.the rollerblade movie

  • Saved By the Bell and Fresh Prince were awesome gtfo.

  • They were if you were into Cross Colours and Sunny Delight. GSFC.

  • What?

  • Think about it.

  • I remeber cathing som of the episodes years ago :) I loved it :D

  • FYI: Swan's Crossing was taped at Kaufman Astoria Studios in Queens outside New York City, where another popular show around that time called home..."Where In The World is Carmen Sandiego"!!! ("Sesame Street" moved production there in '93)

  • I loved this show..... ;(

  • I remember this show, but never watched it. How in the world did you, sixpackgenius managed to upload these episodes from a VHS tape to youtube? You're good.

  • Thanks. I hooked up a VCR to my computer's capture card.

  • i used to watch this when i was a kid, oops and the dance moves lol.

  • this was really the 1 soap I liked watching it was a soap for teens. I can not get over that it lasted for 65 shows should of been more.

  • Wow, I forgot all about this show. I was watching when they filmed the part where the girls start to go after the minibikes. They used to film those scenes at Woodbury Commons in New York.

  • Whatever happened to Shane McDermott?

  • He lives in texas as a real estate agent :)

  • aaaaahhh!!! I always wanted to see this show. oh my God, what's goin' on w/that swan and the submarine? I better keep watching!!;)

  • THis is why I love you tube!!! I am flabbergasted. Thank you thank you !!!

  • Missing the first 13 seconds, which goes:

"Welcome to the town of Swans Crossing, where everyone grew up believing the sun never sets..."

  • Yes! And that breathtaking opening panorama of the Rutledge mansion... I have ALWAYS wondered where that house used for the exterior shots of the estate really is... LOL!

  • I'm so happy to see this on here. I used to stay awake at night watching it.

  • OMG! So excited to see swans crossing on this. I use to love watching this show. This is how Sarah Michelle Gellar became my favorite actress. Thanks so much!

  • Me too, this is great! Thank you for posting.

  • These show rocked. I remember watching at 3PM on channel 9. Sucks this was only on for such a short amount of time

  • I knew if I typed it in the search bar this would pop up. Back in the summer of '92, I watched this everyday! I miss this show, but I guess you gotta grow up sometime!

  • yay! swans crossing! i can't believe it. even though it's hard to see everything, i'm just happy listening to it. thanks a bunches.

  • DAMN!! This clip misses that very first opening shot of the Rutledge mansion that you see right before Ralph drives Sydney's car out of the front gates... Oh well, the point is the clips are finally here! I'm glad to see so many episodes of the show posted... This series was great!

  • aww mwah thanx for posting ive always wanted to watch this show but could never find it, it was way before my time lol but its so cool

  • OMG-thought i was to the last person on earth who remembered this!

  • how much do you want for the 65 episodes on VHS?

  • you are amazing!!! Seriously this was my favorite show when I was younger! You rock! This was the show I would watch after school every day.

  • You are welcome. I do plan on posting all 65 of the episodes.

  • God bless you, this was my favorite show when I was a kid (well next to MMC) and I had them all on tape but lost them in a move :( I'm gonna be saving them all to my faves, so I hope you've posted them all or you continue to keep posting them! Thanks!!!
