Okay WTF? I beat the game and i was not an evil character but as i remember, i never returned to Neverwinter! It would be so epic, but seriously, why not? What did i do wrong? Ah.. rage
Decent ending, though I wish more of the main cast had more impact on the ending rather than killing most of them off after the defeat of the king of shadows.
The game was made so your prior romance (no matter who) seemed to die and left an opening for Gann or Safiya.
However some people have made mods for the game so that the romance from the campaign against the Shadow King lives and can be in the epilogue depending on your actions and conversation choices in this expansion.
Do a search on Gibberlings Three and MotB.
And, if you could, please let me know what the modded epilogue with Elanee is.
@GabrielleduVent The only ones that I know died (According to the ending I got) were Grobnar, in his foolish attempt to save Construct who also 'died', Bishop who eventually joined The Wall of Faithless, Qara (Because I killed that b***h) gets crushed by a huge rock, and presumably Elanee (if she was there in the final battle). Casavir is captured, tried for murder and imprisoned, Khelgar becomes Knight-Captain, Ammon goes to Thay and the others do what they do cuz they apparently lived.
Kaelyn has one of the saddest endings no matter what

The narrator for this game sound like the same from the Fallout games.

3:12 It's a trap!
If only they'd taken Admiral Akbar with 'em to point out the obvious...
Oh... wait. Wrong rebels.

What happens if you had romanced someone from the first game what happens then?

@voiceofbooks
As far as I remember, at the end of NWN2 the cave collapses, leaving everyone, except you, (supposedly) dead.
This "means" you can put your romance options from NWN2 behind and jump to the MotB ones.
In this game run I had Elanee romanced in NWN2 and there was no reference to her. I presume this to be valid to other options.

@pedralm yeah... but what if you want ur character to not romance anyone? does it have an effect at all?
voiceofbooks 10 months ago
@voiceofbooks
Yeah, Safiya is a romance option, you are not forced to do it, if you want to remain "faithful" or "neutral".
About the impact in the ending credits, I've found here details on that:

@pedralm Actually not everyone dies in the cave. But most of them did, like Casavir and Elanee..

@Nekhet Casavir didn't die. According to SoZ, he got captured by the Luskan lunkheads, tried, and imprisoned.
Someone should make a module rescuing Cas.

Hm, I've never done the good ending with One of Many on the team instead of Okku... That opened a whole different angle on the ending! Very nice!
Thanks for uploading!
