Paladins have passive ability taht gives them mana when they are healed. The amount of mana gained is equal to 10% of the amount healed, so there's yore reason why he doesnt run oom

I think the tank only needs to pick up the elite adds that come, there are 4 casters whose death will drop Novos' shield then you can kill him. He is not tankable as u see clearly spells are going everywhere so tank needs to do best dps not worry about threat (to those who are criticising)! Not couger's fault that is how the fight is. i just respecced to prot on my 60 paladin and im wondering should i use BoS instead of BoK ? Is mana more important than 10% stats or should the mana last at the end of the fight ?

well think of it this way, you need to get some mana regen. so if you dont use it your probably gonna use SoW, which would get you more mana so really it all depends, if you have more mana use BoK, less mana BoS. but thats just what i do but experiment and see what you like,

You should always have kings for a group, there are times when you will have more then one paladin not having kings removes one of the better abilities you have.

But yeah in 3.1 It wont mater. Also, There are some fights where Raw HP will be more effective , then the mitigation given by BoSanct.

BoS is the tanking blessing, it should always be used by a tanking paladin, because it gives them the mana they need (of course they get mana by judge of wisdom and healing, but not enough) but its mostly useless to all other groupmembers

kinda... cons only usefull if you have 4 or more mobs, or you are protecting an area you don't want them to pass, do normally use it on the stairs, but it is a high mana ability, so normally only use it once at the start of a group pull to get a threat lead on the healers, then only use it if there are 4 or more mobs, or we have a strong aoe group

That is wrong completely, sorry but you should ALWAYS use cons. Not using it, will destroy the 696 rotation which is the optimum threat generating rotation. There is also the possibility that even on only 3 mobs that extra dps and threat can help you hold the third mob if stupid DPS choose to not attack your target or kill order, OR, if that one caster in your group gets a huge string of crits beating out your threat generation, and with taunts able to miss....

Thats your opinion and depends on the fight, if there is enough mana I spam it on AoE fights, but when there isnt and there are no more than 3 mobs it isnt needed I almost never have threat issues, if someone is killing the wrong target can always taunt them back off and do whatever you need to keep threat. DPS threat control is a thing of the past before TBC I played a hunter and you had to always agro dump and watch your threat, not really an issue thanks to tanking buffs in the patches.

Taunts now will miss so you cannot auto taunt and know you will get the mob. And have you had any raid practice? Because geared DPS can crit your threat to nothingness in a very short amount of time if you aren't paying enough attention.

its a quest in ZD, i got a quest from like grizzly hills to fly in there and in this small camp theres a group quest ( like the first quest) for a weapon reward, all of them r for tanks and 1 for druid, i got the sword=P

The mace is from a quest you can get in Zul'drak at lvl 74. Its called Hammer of Quiet Mourning, the quest is to kill a guy called Ragemane or something liek that.

This weapon replaces every TBC tank wep. :p

I use CTMod's Unitframes gives me actual read outs and the the side % for everyones health mana, has a casting bar for mobs and class (being pally it helps to know if a mob is undead) just wondering what elase you like out of xperel? I had it once a long time ago... but don't really remember why i chose it lol

i'll give you that it does look a lot better :) umm as far as map mods... i use the one from CTMod again, but all it does is add gathering nodes... I also use carbonite quest and it has a map mod, but doesn't work with CTMods so i have that part of it turned off... it shows the full map revealed thogh and just dark if you haven't explored there yet etc... it looked alright for an add on...

Prot pallas are very good pvp but only against other melle classes if u see a caster my advice would be to run ur little ass off and when ever possible dig the biggest hole with ur eye lids as fast as u can n stay there till he gets fed up of lookin for u lol
