is doom 2 for the xbox, cuz i rented the dvd for doom (the movie based on the OLD games,) and on the box it dsaid if i put it in an xbox (not 360) i could polay doom 3. i put it in my xbox360 and it said to put the disc in an xbox to play the demo. i want this game so bad! so if anyone wants to tell meh the systems that the games were on thanks!

It took me ALL these years to realize.

The "disappearing bodies" phenomenon, which many Classic Doomers hate, is . . . well, it's present obviously to keep the game from slowing down, but after seeing the Blade movies again I realize: the "burning embers from head to toe" effect, how the demons disappear, comes from the Blade movies, how the vampires die every time Blade hits them with holy water, silver, garlic, etc.!

But the exact same effect does look a lot more demonology-related in Doom3.
