  • lacy rules!!! economic and creative.... amazing

  • Following this band, Cecil Taylor & Max Roach performed their first European date. And, believe it or not, Ravenna Jazz was a pretty low budget festival...

  • maybe someone posted this already, but the musicians are : steve - soprano, george lewis - tmbn, han bennink - drms, micha mengleberg - pno. Ihope that's a good guess!

  • bass player is : Arjen Gorter ( born 2 januari 1948, Amsterdam, The Netherlands)

  • I didn't know they toured behind this album. Wow!

  • "Terpsichore" is the name of the tune. Lacy, George Lewis, Misha Mengelberg, Horgen Gorter, Han Bennink. These guys did the first-ever record devoted to Herbie's music, apart from the composer himself, right around this time, "Change of Season."

  • @2300skiddo thanx for the info and sharing your knowledge...

love the lacy and checking into herbie nichols as well...
