  • i love this song, please check my channel out for covers and originals!

  • God bless you George Harrison.

  • If I had a voice loud enough for the world to hear I'd say...Why hasn't the Nobel people given Mr. Harrison an award for his humanitarian benefits in Bangladesh and for actually starting the whole process of Rock musicians giving to the impoverished...Also how is it that Hollywood doesn't give like Harrison did...How is it that Wall Street doesn't...

Too many double standards...I'm a Conservative so don't diss my politics...Too many greedy asscaps in my opinion...Learn from Mr. Harrison...

  • could it been that he didnt care about this world as the Spiritual world that he didnt care about stop smoking ???? gOD BLESSHIM Whatever was the reason, hE ALWAYS BE MY FAV OF THE FAB4

  • 5 people don't know their own best interest...

  • A brilliantly realized man, "Help me Lord please, to ries a little higher", "help me lord please, to burn out this desire"=Surrender to the Lord! Praise to him.

  • une beaute parfaite ...un artiste parfait ....La perfection my george

  • Seriously underrated as a solo artist.

  • Lots of neat pictures ive never seen before.

    Great song.

  • It didn't happen that way. It's folklore.

  • As long as this banter of religion continues, religion in itself is pretty interesting. You can get a Mother Theresa or a Mahatma Ghandi, or you can get an Inquisition or a Gihad. Like freshwater and saltwater come out of the same hose, huh?

  • George accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior before he passed. Virtually everyone that is aware of Jesus Christ does so as death approaches.

  • @nz4o George invited the Hare Krishna devotees into his room at the end while on his death bed for your information, for a nice private ceremony he kept it quiet like he always preferred to even at the end. Hare Krishna.

  • @nz4o

Which is why George got cremated and his ashes scattered into the Ganga River in a Hindu ceremony?

I think the one creating folklore is you and your Christian pontiffs. Find some unquestioning children to indoctrinate, not us.

  • perfect Easter song

  • watch?v=kNJitSrxwWk

  • people have been fighting over religions for centuries. but above all voice of every one is the SAME when we suffer, when we cry or when we become helpless and pray to the God almighty. I am a human being and i believe all of you are my brothers and sisters.

  • I go through phases of obsession, and the current obsession is the Beatles. I cant say if my love for them will fade or not, but I am certain, I will never stop obsessing over George.

  • @Ecclipze Totally agree with you, same obsession going at the moment, check out his son Dhanni at the tribute concert, amazing similarity.

  • :)

  • Oh for goodness sakes! Are we really going to have arguments here on the post of one of the most beautiful spiritual songs ever written? I am a witch and am touched by his spiritualism and the beauty he created. Honestly y'all haters get over it already.

  • @ megaspasm Yes, I am very much aware of this. He was involved with the Hare Krsna movement a great deal, and spent much time with Srila Prabhupada. The spiritual science I wrote about is the philosophy of the "Hare Krsnas," which is Bhakti-yoga. I was a "Hare Krsna" for ten years, and still am...sort of.

  • Actually, George wasn't really into "Hinduism", so much. He was more into a non-sectarian spiritual "science" of sorts, which isn't sectarian. He embraced alot of ideas from Hinduism, and from other religions, too. He was a seeker, of that there is no doubt.

  • @grannynara George was a hare krsna not hindu there completly differently things

  • Let's give Frightwolf a point... George Harrison is my favorite artist ever but let's face it, if he meant it or not he did steal some melodys! And you people do sometimes give him more praise then he deserves. Frightwolf is right, he is just a human...

  • @JammerZice

    George never stole shit!

After all that shit went down he even removed all radios from his house, So NOTHING would cross his mind but his own work!

    Look it up

  • @2kndn He stole lots of meldodys and guitar riffs. I don't need to look up anything, I know enough. Look, I like George, but if he means to or not, a lot of his work sounds like a lot of other songs, "Thanks for the pepperoni" being the most copied.

  • They made real pop- music those days.

    It was at its element.

  • great song.....Feeling it in Argentina

  • "Won't you pleeeeeeease, pleeeeeease...hear me, Lord".

George makes a subtle nod to his beatle past :)

  • there is NO god NO fuckin ´´lord´´

    I´ve lost faith in it

  • @bobika366 "God is and is not." (~ The Upanishads)

God is known by "His" absence. Don't we all feel this presence?

  • @bobika366 sorry...you are not required to have faith in "it"...but God aint going nowhere.....I wish you peace on your journey. namaste.

  • Fantastisk sång

  • My favorite of the Beatles... and I have never heard this song... I love it.

  • Maybe it's true his writing wasn't great for the beatles but nobody can deny his solo work is wonderful

  • to some, religion is a liberation...to others a prison cell...to some a method of social control...to others a joyous celebration of spirituality...

to argue over religion is kind of missing the point methinks...

    peace be with you all

nice one george..catch ya on the flip side..;)

  • HEAR ME GEORGE!

  • 4 motherfuckers simply don´t have ears

  • @Gilbert123456789101 who gives a fuck its 4 fuckin people. theres billions of people in the world youre not going to have a unanimous opinion on anything. get over it and stop bitchin about what people like and dislike.

I'm sorry but its every single page now where someone gotta say something stupid about the dislikes.

  • @goeagles86 now you´ve done the same thing you were crying here for. if you don´t like my comments just shut the fuck up and stop acting like a fake fool

  • @Gilbert123456789101 again, im sorry. it was def not needed, I just started typing an before i knew it i hit post. i wasint being fake, just hypocritical. my bad

  • This song has very strong omnipotent feel to it, It has to with that title.

  • I do see the depth on many of Harrison's songs. However, I think that this song, plus My Sweet Lord, loose some depth. It's not the religion in particular, but the Hinduist approach. Here's why. Source: Indian Records. Hinduism REQUIRED child sacrifice, blood and drinking, burning of widows, supreme superstitious justice, and holy suicide. It was reformed by the British in the 1700s to keep the natives happy, instead of forcing them to take Christianity. Hinduism is not real today.

  • @MrNatwill2. Ignorant fool. get your facts right

  • @MrNatwill2 lose* and George wasn't a hindu, he was a hare krishna devotee, and even if he was, hinduism has always been about love, karma and reincarnation, everything you just said was wither adapted from christianity or utter bullshit. hinduism is just about the only religion that exists that isn't responsible for mass violence, take your christian bullshit somewhere else, why don't you go morn the people who died in 9/11 since that seems to be popular among ignorant christians.

  • @ledZeppelin7680 I see you have to be supported by 3000 dead people. Leave 9/11 out of this, you ignorant sorry moron.

    * It is also disrespectful you spell Hinduism in lower case, idiot. I at least have respect for the religion. But just because I respect it doesn't mean I'm going to drink sour milk after the rats in a tomb. YES, THAT'S A HINDU RITUAL, performed in Rajasthan's temple. I also dont' allow a sacred cow to deficate on my living room floor.

    I'm a George Harrison fan.

  • @MrNatwill2 yeah, religion is pretty stupid I agree. every religion has stupid rituals, stupid morals and stupid beliefs, so discrimination is just as ignorant as racism when it comes to religion, they might drink sour milk, but at least they don't eat shit ass card board bread which they believe to be the body of someone who died thousands of years ago.

  • @ledZeppelin7680 Now we're both in agreement with George. Here's the lyrics to an excellant song he did:

"You don't need to passport, you don't need no visas. You don't need to designate or to emigrate before you can see Jesus..." That's what religion is: traditions and practices. I may be a Christian, but I may have been to two communions, I've never been baptised, and I don't care who does or does not. I wish people knew that you don't need communion waffers or sour milk.

    Continued//

  • ''awaiting on you all''? I didn't know dark horse had anything to do with krishna... the reason I think religion is stupid is because I don't see the point in dedicating your life to someone you're not even sure exists, or for that matter letting another being define who you are, the way I see it that's like volunteering to be a slave, I think everyone should live their own lives and make their own decisions, my aggression towards religion however is because of the violence it causes.

  • @ledZeppelin7680

// Religion is stupid. Catholics and protestants slaughter eachother in the streets. Shiite and Suni Muslims attack eachother's children. The list is endless. This is because they all agree that there is one god, but they can't all be right about who it is. That is why REAL belief is not religious, but personal. George was less religious and more personal with his God. Correct me if I'm wrong. George was not a traditional Krishna, but was a Dark Horse.

    Thanks, George!

  • @MrNatwill2 well said.

  • George was a devotee of Krishna Consciousness. To many, that's drawing a fine line, but it is technically a different religion from Hinduism. Check out "Govindam" the epic track that George produced and arranged that is the official morning prayer song of KC.

  • man this takes me back, I got this album when it first came out and was lost in it for days, its still amazing, brings back feelings I had forgotten. You never hear this song anywhere! thanks

  • WoW! wow! what a song........You so beautiful George, so beautiful! I listen to "All things must pass" every week! I will be loving this peaceful man for the rest of my life.

  • musical fusion at its finest.

  • muito bom o som do george

  • To me, this tune is a standout on an album full of fantastic songs. He beat Dylan's religious-themed songs by almost 10 years and was vastly underrated as a songwriter and guitar player. It seems that he put all of his eggs in this basket, though, as his subsequent releases never matched the quality of the songs on this masterpiece. At any rate, George Harrison is the man!!!!

  • thank you george,hare krishna,

  • Made Me Cry....In A Good Way !! PEACE&LOVE, Larry Penna

  • His Grace Sriman George Harrison ki?! Jay!!!

  • Amazing song- it shows just how faithfully religious and understanding George was. same wiht his song "My Sweet Lord" George in his music said " I really wnat ot be with you, Lord" and in the end he got his wish, though it was sad. At least George is happy, playing beautiful music in Heaven forever to the Lord he loved.

  • the lyrics are wrong on the slideshow- those are lyrics to George's song "All Things Must Pass"

  • beautiful...love you george xxbabs

  • Chant along this song from your heart

not the mind and feel the blessings

thank you George I always love your songs dedicated to Krishna

  • Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare, that is really what he is saying. When we really call out to God directly this is what we do.

  • love this song always have i can relate to it now thankyou nice video !

  • yeah he was a human being a few steps above all of us...

  • he sure was :)

    :,(

  • This man is so beautiful. he never waiverd in his faith of hinduism. i'm not a relgious person but this song gave me so much strength when my mum was dying of cancer. thanks george your a legend...... i love you mum xo

  • George was always religious, although he was many different religons throughout his life. Poor George wrote music to help the world understand his and others' death, because George said he wasn't afraid to die- he said he believed in reincarnation. George deid of cancer to- Lung cancer from smokin sadly in 2001.

  • @richo12

I hope this helps clear things up -

Hinduism is not an accurate description. George was a devotee of the One Supreme God who has millions of names including, YHWH, El Shadai, Abba, Jehovah, or Krishna. God's names all reveal His character to his devotees. A pure devotee wants nothing more but to lovingly serve God. Jesus (Yeshua) only wanted to serve God, too. This is not about many gods, but the One, Supreme person. Hare Krishna! Praise God Almighty! Love

  • this song breaks my heart. its sentiments are true my soul, but its resolution I haven't yet achieved. oh, help me Lord.

    hear me lord please!

    my lord!

  • Hare Krishna!!!!!!

    Bless you all!!

  • one of the best song he sang

from his heart and Soul He helped spread the love of Krishna also with the Govinda album and My sweet Lord

Hari son , son of Hari

thank you George you were to me a master in your way

  • Actually Harrison means Son of Harry. Harry is a derivation of Henry, meaning "home ruler."

  • "Forgive them Lord...those that feel they really can't afford you" ; that pretty much sums up today's world of ME! ME and more ME!!

  • George here sings a love song to the sixth Beatle

  • Sixth Beatle?

  • the Lord, dude

  • you

  • When I saw George in concert in 1975, he told the audience, "I'm not this bag of bones. I'm spirit soul."

  • while everyone thout paul was the hotest of of the beetles i always thougt george was!

  • Great song. I recall the 8 track I had of this now. Long Long ago...

  • hare krishna!

    good bless you.

    Atte: Lou, from mexico.

  • It's amazing... he truly poured his soul into this one. I mean... it's tough not to sing this--and I'm not a big religious person at all--and just sing your head off to whichever entity you believe in. Such a beautiful song.

I mean, I can see why the Beatles would have rejected it; religious stuff really was sort of untouched... but god, he truly tore into this beauty!

So gorgeous. Unbelievable voice he had..

  • he touched ur soul while paul skimmed ur heart hes so good with words and melodieshe was much more talented to me than paul he was over shadowed cus he was a guitarist at the time and hade to start from the bgining to write songs

  • How can you seriously say George was more talented than Paul. Certainly not musically, nor songwriting. George did get the short end of the stick as far as songs on albums, but he learned a lot about songwriting and melody from Paul and John. It also gave him an excess of solo material.

  • I keep hearing this cliche over and over again...finally even George belived it. Of how TALENT can be learnt from others. Come on people do your OWN thinking.

  • Musically pretty close (Paul was certainly better on keyboards, but I`m sure he couldn`t play a sitar).Songwriting I would have to say is close too (Paul certainly lost his lyrical gift in the last 20-30 years). George was writing spritual and insightful, thoughtful lyrics all along clear up to his death.

  • Wow I remember hearing this song 5 years ago in 6th grade and falling in love with it. It's so...deep and spiritual. It's amazing. God Bless George Harrison.

  • favorite song, thanks for posting this.

  • Hear me Lord, why you have taken away George so quick??? YOU aren't right!!!!

    THANK YOU GEORGE!

  • Another gem from georges masterpiece thank you for the post!

  • Excellent song, fuck I just love it!

  • Glad you like it. :D

  • Excellent song and video, thank you!

Another George masterpiece rejected by Paul and John.

  • I agree with you. Paul and John were always the front runners of the group, although it seems as if George has a MUCH bigger musical vision than that of John and Paul. Some of their later songs are clearly not as good as George's.

  • Thanks for posting this. One of my all-time G.H. songs. So spiritual.
