I wish you were my math teacher... up until now i never had any idea what the hell the "mew" "sigma" "phi" and all those letters were even about i just memorized the equations although it wasn't much problem before either but i have such a better understanding now thanks so much!!!! :D
lol.. when you were saying "naught" i thought you were saying "not".. lol.. silly american over here getting stressed out.. i thought i was getting it then i heard "not".. lol.. silly me.. but thanks a bunch.. i really get it now.. :D
that's my problem, when im supposed to be learning i drift and pay attention to other things. but thanks for the help man. are you able to do a vid or give pointers about using the calculator method to find the fi values?
Yep!! I think you'll find it hard going if you don't have a reasonably good Maths background. You could find more info from Amazon, but suggest you wait till you can do a Uni Course on it.Otherwise you could get a copy of SPSS and google for tutorials, then follow one of them. You'll need a lotta time to fully understand SPSS.
Good luck in your exam - glad I could help. I am doing these vids for free in order to raise money for charity. Any donations to OXFAM as a thank you would be really appreciated. Just click on Maths Aid below any video on my site if you want to contribute.
i kno, but i learn like this better than, going to class and listening to teachers, maybe its just the teachers at my school dunno, but thses vids certainly help on a scale 10/10
Right, I meant they were the topics I didn't get very well. BUT I got an A in statistics anyway =) even though I hate it with a passion. I love core maths.
Can you explain to me what chapter 1,2 and 3 is of the WJEC S2 course (as in the topics)? Thanks

hmm, taking too long for this simple question.
otivaeey 2 years ago
thanks for the awesome video, but i have a question, why was the unit for 9 hours squared?
LidiyaShadow 3 years ago
The two parameters used to define a normal distribution are the mean and variance in that order.
The variance is the standard deviation squared. I could have written 81 but I prefered to leave it as 9 squared.
I hope that answers your question.
ExamSolutions 3 years ago
ohh, i see, thank you for you help. ^w^

Hey you are now doing statistics also? I think statistics is fine apart from probability and and discrete random variables.
Wacko375 3 years ago
Probability and random variables are kind of the idea of statistics. It's like saying math would be great without addition signs. :)

Right, I meant they were the topics I didn't get very well. BUT I got an A in statistics anyway =) even though I hate it with a passion. I love core maths.
