@itzpacmanx9 Kobe makes the Lakers better. He won finals MVP 2x that means he leads them in those two championships. Stats dont always tell the story. Kobe is a better leader and a better performer in the Playoffs/Finals

@Zabarteismyname you might want to check that again cause im pretty sure kobe's team got swept this year and lebrons playoff stats were better than his. kobe's always had other players on his team to help him. lebron on the cavs had nobody and he got them to the playoffs. now that hes off the team look at them now. worst team. the lakers dont need kobe as much as any team could use lebron. all kobe can do is score and play solid defense. lebron doest it all & better year after year. period.

He will never be better than him. All he has on him is athletic ability. Magic was the greater player by far. Magic Johnson was unstoppable every night. Lebron is unstoppable in some.

I hate when people use "kobe has 5 rings" as an argument to claim he is the best. A championship is a TEAM achievement. If you want to be taken seriously, dont use a championship as your main point in a head to head comparison of players. That being said, Lebron is no doubt the best ball player in the game. His overall efficiency on both ends and how he affects a game is proof.

lebron james is taller, faster, stronger,and has more hops than kobe. he can go to the basket with much more ease. he gets more rebounds then kobe. he gets more assist then kobe, but i dont think that makes him a better passer maybe a more willing passer. kobe has better footwork. a better back to the basket game. he is a better shooter. he is a better man on man defender. lebron get blocks but he is not a better defender than kobe.kobe is a more versaitile scorer. and kobe is more clutch.

@bashmo lebron career average is about 1.7 steals a game. kobe averages 1.5. and his block average for his career is .8 while kobes is .5. lebron is a superior help defender which goes back to the fact that he is stronger,faster and has more hops. everytime you hear someone compliment his defense is either because he gets a block from behind,or plays the passing lanes. which he is really good at. also Shaq shoot 58 percent from the field. is he a better shooter than lebron? this is fun bro

He is excellent at closing out, switching on screens, etc. Wen u add in his off ball defensive ability, he's the most dangerous defender. LBJfrom mid range is more accurate, please look it up..

I think kobe is the better scorer people just getting into basketball need to see what he did when he was a bit younger its crazy. The time he brought the lakers back to beat the blazers in order to get to the finals. In this one game he had like 1 point in the half then 40 in second half. Lebron is amazing too. Heat will keep playing well.
