I drove a Subaru Justy with ECVT. It didn't have a manual mode though. It had normal and power. Power mode was cool. You punch it and the tach goes to the max power RPM of the motor and then just sits there as the car picks up speed at a surprising pace for a three cylinder.
I bet those shift points are a computer pre set on the drive pulleys. Since CVT's are continuous there is no set point of shifting to go by. I bet there are some cool power shifting computer hacks for the Burgman on the forums.
Yeah, make sure you do that once.. :) ... I'm enjoyin' the vids you post, and some shifting action every now and then will get you an extra star in the rating system ;-)
LOL I love the beginning bits Bro! Ya know... That shifting bit is hella cool, I never realised the Burgie could do this like that, If I recall correctly, in your last vid when you were shifting, it didn't seem so pronounced to me. I like the ending clip, me gotta gets one of those. Great Bike you have SC, great bike.
Thanks for the early morning ride SC. I too am an early riser. Normally I'm up around 5:30 a.m. If I sleep till 7:00a.m., I have defintely slept in. Thanks for sharing. Ride Safe My Friend. (rsmf)
Thanks my friend. I've always been a morning person. Until I had to work nights for 14 years. 6 PM to 6 AM. I don't know why, but I just love to say........... Good Morning!

Your exactly right. I've never heard of a hack for that but I'm sure someone has at least tried.
