The crimes that Colonel Gaddafi committed are crimes that are completely unacceptable and wrong in every way possible. This isn't to say he deserved to be killed in such a brutal and inhumane way. Yes, he himself might have killed/allowed brutal killings amongst other people, but are we really this petty to sink to his level? I think it's sad to see this is what society has become. Its awful and inhuman. Yes, Gaddafi did horrible things to his own people, but he should have been brought to justice in the international court. And let's not be too hasty and patronising by calling them barbarians. Not too long ago people in the West were sticking heads on poles and engaged in awful practices like "hanging, drawing and quartering".. This typical reaction of repressed hate is not typical to one nation or ethnic group.
