La Primera vez que tuve este CD en mis manos allá por los 90s no sabia quien era Musica Antiqua Koln y ni si quiera quien era Pachelbel y ni tampoco que era canon in D... solo digo que me dejó con la boca abierta, y el alma plena ....fue sinceramente un extasis....lo demás, lo dejo para expertos, que si era mas lento, que asi no se toca, que es demasiado histerico.....Para mi el barroco era así, porque asi me gusta a mi.....Reinhard Goebel es un genio y tienen un sonido unico.....

@marcelita114551 Estabas alli para ver cómo lo hacía Pachelbel, o se sabe por alguna psicofonía o algo asi? el pulso se puede llevar a la semibreve, o a la breve, o a la redonda. Las intenciones de los fraseos musicales cambian. Hay ciclos más largos. A mi me gusta mucho esta versión. Me suena muy barroca, en estilo, y con el mérito de atrevese a hacer algo diferente a Karajan. La conocía hace por lo menos 20 años y hoy me dio por buscarla aqui. Me sigue gustando igual.
Yo pienso que Johann Pachelbel hubiera querido que sonara así, recuerden que se trata de una obra del periodo barroco, algunos directores la dirigen a una velocidad aburridamente lenta, que lejos de sonar a un estilo barroco, suena más a un estilo romántico

Pachelbel lo nterpretaba a ritmo LARGO, es idea mìa o lo tocan como corriendo los 100 ms llanos??? quieren hacer ver lo virtuosos que son???

@marcelita114551 Creo que en la version original no habia ningun ritmo. Tan grande era su talente que la pieza anda bien a cualquiera ritmo.

Beautiful version.
If you want, you can hear versions of Christopher Hogwood and Andrew Parrott; they are very well too.
