This qawwali is based on the Great late Shahbaaz Qalander who's blood turned in to diamonds when he was doing dhamaal. Based on a very sufi saint who was close to Allah and also is my ancestor from 900 years back, I belong to a Syed family and so does he.

@motaqi No mate. Shah Baaz Qalandar didn't do any miracles. Only prophets were allowed to do miracles wid the permission of Allah. He was a humble sufi who reminded muslims that Islam is a religion of peace mercy tolerance & much more. So he encouraged tolerance towards hindus. Dat's wat he must b known for rather dan a being of godly status who cud do miracles which seems shirk.

In response to your question Jhoole Lal is also know as Khwaja Khizr/Khidr among the Islamic community.

He is one great legend that both communities, Hindu Sindhi's and Muslims have respect for and believe in.

Just thought I would give you some history - Khwaja Khizr/Jhoole Lal transcends the boundary of being a Hindu or Muslim.

@Sikhi5 Hindus bring him to a level of God because he was among d educated muslims who knew dat d way of Islam is not murder innocent ppl regardless of deir religion. Dat is y hindus rever him as if he is some sort of god while in reality he was a *sufi scholar* of afghan descent who knew other reliigons as well but remained muslim & thaught fanatic muslims about tolerance towards hindus.

he was Muslim and he converted thousands of hindus to Islam in Sindh. We have thousands of families who are descended from these hindu converts to islam INSIDE pakistan. Just thought I would give you correct history
