Excellent video! How can anyone take Genesis seriously? The only way I can see it is that God's the bad guy because he set up the two - by definition - most innocent people in history. Why would they, without knowledge of good & evil, disbelieve in a talking snake (?!) that the all-good god created? Then god blames them for choosing what is a random option! God didn't give us morals. According to Genesis, Satan did. Morals are the ability to know what is right and what is wrong. But God didn't want A and E to KNOW what was right and what was wrong. We now have a much better understanding of the relations from one species to the next and a very competent "family tree" of species by looking at the DNA evidence.

When I was a member of the biology club and we used to discuss the need for evolution education, this would have been such an uplifting and inspiring bit of comic relief. But it's frightening. People have an offshoot of their digestive system called the appendix. It serves no useful purpose but often gets infected and kills people. People have a set of wisdom teeth that causes more trouble than their worth. These exist because they didn't kill people before they could reproduce. Can you argue that's intelligent design?
You're a little behind the times on the appendix thing. It actually is used as a "safe house" for germs if Im not mistaken. It was realized that it had to have some purpose when it was found to be in a number of distantly related animals, and it wouldn't make sense for natural selection to fail to eliminate something so useless among such a diversity or organisms. nonfunctionality of it became a problem for evolutionary theory, one that was somewhat recently solved.
While physicians have found uses for the appendix such as using it to replace damaged tubes in other organs overall the human race would be better off without it. Just ask anyone who has had appenisitis. It is also a safe have for good bacteria when antibiotics are used to kill germs in the body.
However for centuries this organ was worthless because the doctors of the day didn't know how to use it. Many thousands of people have died of diseases of this all but worthless organ.
It probably is more harmful than beneficial. However evolutionary selection only "cares" about animals up through reproductive age, so since its not often detremental until the organism is past that age, it makes sense.

That's my point exactly. DNA is nothing more than a blueprint.
A Ford and A Honda can have very similar design blueprint.
They are not necessarily related though.
It is quite obvious that DNA does not really reveal origin BUT

People have an offshoot of their digestive system called the appendix. It serves no useful purpose but often gets infected and kills people. You're a little behind the times on the appendix thing. It actually is used as a "safe house" for germs if Im not mistaken. It was realized that it had to have some purpose when it was found to be in a number of distantly related animals, and it wouldn't make sense for natural selection to fail to eliminate something so useless among such a diversity or organisms. nonfunctionality of it became a problem for evolutionary theory, one that was somewhat recently solved.

While physicians have found uses for the appendix such as using it to replace damaged tubes in other organs overall the human race would be better off without it. Just ask anyone who has had appenisitis. It is also a safe have for good bacteria when antibiotics are used to kill germs in the body.
However for centuries this organ was worthless because the doctors of the day didn't know how to use it. Many thousands of people have died of diseases of this all but worthless organ.

@ HaveUconsidered >> Wrong. To start with science is based on observations of what is happening around us, and using logic to come to conclusions based on that. We can observe the natural world through our different sense and we can measure many different aspects of it. Therefore there is no logical fallacy being created.
On the other hand the supernatural world cannot even be proven to exist except as a construct of the human mind to fill the gaps in what we don't understand yet.
