Hi Amanda, sorry, I was never on the M/V Oakwood, I also did not know your father. I only look at these video clips because they bring back fantastic memories when I was at sea. If I could turn back the clock I would in a heartbeat. The sea was a great life.

Hi I just stumbled across this as my dad was on that ship too! Amazing! is there any way to get a copy of it for him? he would be gobsmacked. My dad is the one making the model boat I think! His name is Roger Gibson. Thanks Amanda Pockett

Brings back great memories. I was at sea from 1962-90 (on deck). I couldn't get another ship after the "Pool" closed down in Sept 90. I still miss it.
