Common misconception. Chicken refers to the species of bird it is, therefore it does not determine gender. Roosters are male chickens and hens are female chickens.
I remember this one. I agee SexyLettie, I am a grouchy old man too but these cartoons make me smile like nothing much else on television today. Maybe its because we were brought up on this stuff but the cartoons today (with some honorable exceptions) seem just a little bit too smart for their own good. Who is there alive today with the creative genius of Jay Ward? No one that I can think of.
